All valid points of view, but still starting from the argument that DNS is only used to translate names to addresses that are used for TLS-enabled protocols, which obviously is a very large percentage, but there's more. We still need DNSSEC for the rest. What would happen to spam if we could link every mail to the real sender? That should be a real use case. How much traffic is spammers impersonating others? So do we need a rethink about DNS? YES, so we only have to verify DNSSEC replies if we don't want to connect to HTTPS or other TLS-based communications. Looking forward to other episodes... 👍

Lu Heng does not understand how Internet Number Resources, so to speak IPv4 addresses are meant to be used. He has formed his own world view of what IPv4 addresses are and he seems them as some sort of commodity which they are not. Resource members across the RIR internet numbers ecosystem, are allocated or assigned IP addresses based on need to use and when they nolonger need them return them to the RIR for reassignment and reallocation. Resource members pay annual membership admin costs so enable RIR operate and serve them and that is about it. Infact its cheaper to obtain IP addresses through RIR that from Larus who stockpiles th and leases in times of scarcity. In otherwords Lu Heng needed them to lease them and not to use them to operate opensystems himself.
This is superlative material, easily the best and the gentlest introduction to segment routing out there. Paresh Khatri brings crystal-clarity to subject matter, preferring to keep it simple avoiding going too deep; yet leaving the pupil with enough information to investigate further on her own. Kudos.
