I wonder if the settlement to Bleao was real generosity of because, rather than gross misconduct as the CEO said, Bleao had strong grounds for constructive dismissal. I mean, the owner picking the team…100% a managers job…and Big Ron coming in with input to training, transfers, talking to the owner about the manager…I mean, if that’s not undermining the manager what is? And in the Swindon episodes, Big Ron himself says being undermined is the worst thing that can happen to a manager. Bleao was right to walk. He was being humiliated.

The problem it seems the players thought they where better then they actually where theres a reason they where playing in the lower leagues because thats where there level was
I actually felt sorry for Bleao, he was over emotional, and over the top, you could see the pressure in his persona all the time, trying so hard to get Peterborough promoted and having to deal with politics left, right and centre...Not sure what hes up to these days, but i hope Bleao is doing okay 👍.

This was so rotten on bleo the poor guy never got a chance as a manager with this circus. Ron was right, it's not easy for someone to go from being 'one of the lads' to being a boss, suddenly your mate who you've had beers with is telling you what to do. I've seen this happen in companies I've worked for. On balance it is more likely to end in failure than success. In an ideal world, players will walk over hot coals for their gaffer and certainly not give them lip when asked to do something they don't like.
