@@pkol07 i would recommend you to build a ported enclosure for the MPS It allowes you the same audiophile quality but with more output First it was in a 17l closed box Now in a 25l tuned around 30 Hz and it sounds absolutely outstanding The same good quality but with more decibels
@TheChrisplayer94 I listen to a lot of hardstyle, techno and the Alpine R2 ported doesn't work, the box is tuned to 36hz. What would you recommend to keep the frequencies equal?

Eton is a german brand Maybe it is only available on the Europe market I would get a Sundown Audio SD-4 That one i can't get in Europe and it seems to be even better than the Eton
@@TheChrisplayer94 Thats a very close comparison being both of those are designed for sealed boxes. They both sound great...I would not sell the one I have to get the other one. That said if I had neither and was looking for a subwoofer for a classic sealed sound I would pick the Hertz based on looks alone as they both sound great.
@@dcaudio1 thank you for your answer I wanted to buy it from the states but i will save the Hertz if both are similar! I was thinking the Sundown is even better. The MPS can hit really good together with my 620 Watt rms Amplifier and it has only a 17l box Really impressive 🤯
Hertz MPS is such a great subwoofer. I´ve rearly heard anything that sounds so nice in such a small enclosure. Btw. great song! Not easy to catch the lowest lows. I used to listen to Glass House and miss my old stereo.
I´ve heard this Hertz in three different cars now. As front-sub, as a single and a pair in the trunk. Hertz did such an awesome job. It's barely believable how much low-end output a shallow subwoofer can do in such a tiny enclosure. For sure it´s not what I would recommend for a system that blasts the street, but its a fantastic sound quality woofer that sounds a size or two bigger than it is.

Hello. Congratulations for the nice setup. I watched all of your videos about this sub. I just ordered this sub but have not yet installed it. Is the distortion coming from the sub or the mic? Would like to see a video from outside the car, or far enough where the mic will not distort. Also, is this at maximum volume the sub can play without distortion?
Hi Thank you! The woofer is absolutely amazing and produce some heavy and clean bass! It makes 0 distortion I haven't any good microphone, so i used two different Smartphones The sound is very clean and can be played way louder but then the microphone will distort even more From outside you would hear my car shake a bit I have many subwoofers the last years but this one is the best so far You will be happy!
fwiw, i am using a *stealth box w/ a 10TW3 in my honda. it's about .5 sealed, and the Mille Pro has about the same specs, so im going to swap it out and listen for anything good. i have heard that the MPS will play a bit lower, so in my box im rolling off hard around 40Hz - i'll prolly get about a ~2dB gain at 40hz with this Hertz, which isn't much to speak of.. but if i can swap this JL out, then i can use 2 of them in my tacoma. we'll see. i may just hang onto it for my next ride. the Mille was 20% off so i snagged it!

@@82sweetboy yes it is It has better power handling But JL have good products Before the mps 250 i had a 10W1V3 and it was great but the Hertz is overall more powerful and plays a little bit deeper
