That's just silly, You know it's not a e-bike it's an electric motorcycle and unfortunately people paying silly money for these and doing stupid shit on the road is making it difficult for legit e-bikes to have the privilege to continue enjoying them. The majority of people out there are doing it right and it just take a few ripping down the bike paths to screw it up for everybody.
A beautiful video. I hiked the JMT in sections when I was younger and it was an unforgettable experience. I am fortunate to live not all that far from Sequoia Nat'l Park and was blessed to be able to take dozens of trips throughout the High Sierra when I was younger and carefree (for the most part...) 😉 I would do a High Sierra hike of 100+ miles every year after Labor Day - my favorite time to go with few mosquitos or people and would hike most weekends from Spring to late Fall when a hiking friend was around.. Words alone cannot describe the beauty of nature and only experiencing her in the middle of nowhere with nothing but the pack on your back and with many miles to go before you sleep may show how fortunate you truly are and make you appreciate the simple things such as a drink of cold water or a glorious view.
California State Parks is circulating the following memo to law enforcement across the state, check it out: ohv.parks.ca.gov/pages/1234/files/OHMVR%20Electric%20Off-Highway%20Motorcycle%20Bulletin%20Volume%2024%20Number%201-Final.pdf
One of the BEST videos I've seen of the NC500! We're headed back to Scotland in April or May of 2025 for 2 weeks and we plan to visit Isle of Skye and do this epic road trip! Were you there in early, mid or late May and how long did you take to make the NC500 drive? I'll have my drone with us and hope to get some amazing video like you did!!
Thanks for watching! I completed the NC 500 May 5th-8th. While I was in Scotland, I also walked the West Highland Way and camped at the Isle of Skye… I made videos for those experiences as well!
Thank you for the itinerary....it will help with my 2 week solo trip ....gives me ideas for my trip. I liked that you included the travel time between places.
To everyone in California be very aware C.H.P is state controlled by Governor Fig Newton. Dont get me wrong, there are some good officers who aren't Stupidcrats and are against Fig Newton Tyrant ways. Unfortunately in my small towns they very unhappy and act very military. Never mind the protect and serve us. The protect and serve themselves. Last time I walked into A C.H.P office in a different county, I could feel the tension in the air when I stepped inside. The girl sitting behind the glass didn't look very happy either. When I asked for Assistance, this big thug who looked like Bull from night court. Had a attitude of I'm bothering him from eating his donuts in the back room didn't care about a individual who committed a 148.8 violation(false identity)with proof I had report. No he was more interested in investigating me. Now the department is facing A I.A(internal Affairs) investigation why was I discriminated, and why is this person not in jail for false Identity? This guy is illegal in our country and could be on a terrorist watch list too. Yet Bull from night court doesn't want to do his job yet collect a pay check.
Just move out of Rip off fornia. Problems solved. I'm going to start riding my Dirt Bike on the roads.I won't do anything stupid. I'm using the roads for access to my riding designation. Perfectly respectful. I pay high registration fees too.
The problem that I see with these things in my neighborhood is that they get up on the sidewalks they drive through. They don’t follow any road laws. They dip through traffic. They zip out of traffic. They go back on sidewalks parking lots zip out go right back in the traffic and not have any regards for any else so when they cause a crash and most of them don’t even have insurance so, it’s ridiculous
How about police ]just stick to enforcing laws that really matter and quit being such communist it’s is a bike a freakin bike why would you feel the need to bother someone unless they were doing something dangerous to others this guys uniform is tan looks a lot like the brown shirts of the nazi party this is such bs and I don’t even own one.
@@dinky19810 I think the most common use would be to put car soap in the foam canon if you were washing your car with it. I’ve heard 1:4 ratio… 1 part soap to 4 parts water.
CA state law requires emission sticker VIN number all lights turn signals DOT Approved License plate and M1 or M2 license and insurance. Ride with traffic. Not in a bike lane. not sure you can get that from a Surron. sorry. Check DMV website or google pretty clear.
if im 13 and have a pedal kit on this and only put it in eco so it goes lets just say 28 for the record, would anything happen, in my state it says i needa be 16 but i mean it has pedals and goes the legal speed
Had he had his shit together he would have had the pedal kit on it, Which reduces the speed, reduces the wattage, and makes the bike 100% legal, basically becomes like a moped.
Great video, really helpful to anyone who books with Krusty. Which month did you travel - you seemingly had some bad luck with lots of clouds. Some remarks, you slept at Camp Janca the first night, Camp Mitodocha is a wild camping right at the Laguna. Now after seeing it I'm really thinking to book somewhere else though - as Krusty skips the Hotsprings at Viconga in order to walk out in 3 days instead of the traditional 2 days from Huayllapa. And on the last day instead of the most scenic route via Rondoy to actually close the loop take the way to Pocpa (betters still then out to Llamac what is sometimes done). So best 8 day option would be to go on D4 to Viconga. D5 to Elefantes and a sidetrip to Passo San Antonia and back. D6 via Passo Jurau to Hualylapa. D7 to Jahuacocha (yes second long day in a row). D8 to Pallca via Rondoy Pass. Oh and on D1 if acclimatised take the Ruta Alta via Caracocha - instead of the low route (it's not even much longer). As you walked it - it adds up to 90km and 5500m uphill and 5800m downhill. That's a far cry from the 80 Miles you claim in the beginning (55 Miles overall only). However then other agencies are much more expensive than Krusty, so a bit of a hard choice. Maybe best to get an arriero and mules only and go on your own with your own pace?
Definately illegal in most states such as Cali. There's info on it on the DMV websites for those that wanna read up. U can ride it still but of course you'll run the risk of getting your bike impounded. Depends if the cop gonna cool about it.
