This thing is super slow and doesn't go more than 40km of range. Yet I am a 6'2'' and weight around 90kg. That might be the issue. Uphill it won't go over 30km/h, ever. Driving on crowded roads is highly uncomfortable because of low speed.
man you can't, you need to either reprogram the main controller or swap it for one from TC Max. There's also an option with a power wire swap. You'd need to ask your local dealer. They have it. Otherwise the 45km/h is super slow, I hate mine for that. Always blocking traffic.

Mode 1, 2, 3 only affect your top speed, not acceleration, so you dont need to put it in mode 3 to get a better start off the line, the modes are like speed limiters
@@leonkristiansen5428 Ive had 2 Super Socos TC and TCMax, both have the same acceleration regardless of mode, just the top end changes dependent on mode
You need a calculator for 9 x 4 ?? And, you are not telling us but this bike consumes a lot of breaking pads and disks because the engine will almost not slow you down. You safe on petrol and waist on that. No regenerative breaking, it is not like a Tesla.... In other words: it polutions as much as a normal bike but in a different way and it will cost you what you were saving on fuel. Plus, I doubt it is as reliable as a petrol bike. So, on the long run 3/4/5 years your battery is dead (£1200-1500) and fixing is only at the dealer. It looks very nice though and that could be your main reason bying one.
Well, I want one because petrol is freaking expensive here... about 1,60 euro per liter... Charging up this bike in my shed after driving it is cheaper and it's nice to not have to drive by a petrol station... Next to that, most petrol mofeds are ugly here... (The Netherlands) they all have a model like the pagani zip or a italian model. This one looks more mature and like an actual bike. Although here in the Ntherlands it's sold as mofed.
Nice review but it is a bit stupid to switch 10x per minute from eco to normal to sport to normal to sport to normal to eco to sport ... the software should take care of that in 2020. And, btw, regenerative breaking should be included otherwise you spend a lot of money on your breaking system.
00:57 Actually it isn't an automatic, it's electric so there's not transmission ;) I just got mine recently and think it's awesome, highly recommended for those considering!
A very reasonable range considering this is supposed to be for commuting across town, and not going out for a ride just for the hell of it. You will soon learn where all the forecourts and shops are that have power points outside. (not for our use of course)
1500, does that refer to the motor size, the super soco's available now in Australia as they have just started importing them, are the 2400wh and 3000wh motor versions?
the 3000w is the peak power (dont ask me how it works!), its still a 1500 for the TC and a 1200 for the TS. I drove a TC a coupla weeks ago ( I'm over in Perth), quite impressed.
Avon Scammers, Don't bother they take your money then leave you without parts or any time scale to fix a bike with less than 5000 miles on the clock and full service with Avon scammers. The bike has been off the road for 2 months with no repair they just scam then scam until you stop calling them. Total scam and waste of other £2000.00
Pretty sure the “first cyclist to pull out in front” of you had the right of way there !! he is on the road before you Thanks for video too was nice to see what you think of the bike around city traffic 👍🏻👍🏻
4:08 35mph! Naughty, that bit after St Phillips causeway before the Lawrence Hill roundabout is 30mph! (there's no hiding anything on the Interweb these days!). BTW saw these at fullychargedshow. They are much prettier bikes in reality than the pictures. Hadn't realised you can remove the battery for charging, that's a huge advantage for those without off-street parking.
Couple of questions. Do the battery chargers plug into a normal mains plug socket? Can you fit two batteries into this bike? What is the maximum weight the bike will take? Thanks
1. Yes it does. 2. Two batteries fit but you can only use one at a time, then you have to swap the cable to the other battery when the first one is empty. 3. 84 kg. Hope this answers your questions.
This bike is on offer now in the Allyos social store app for both purchase and for auction. Minimum entry is $1 that you can spend it you don't win the purchase right on the auction. Great vid, thanks!
why did they make this machine so slow is beyond me,i do like them, they are popping up in Australia now but the speed is keeping me from buying,my commute to work has a 90kmh zone and im on it for around 8-10mins the rest is 60 70 80kmh
In my country anyway, it's a fast as it can legally be without needing a motorcycle license to ride it. It works for someone like me who lives in an area that is all within it's max speed. Get the TC Max, much faster.
In Europe it falls into the moped category that is restricted to 45 km/h. For petrol it's 50cc max and for electric it's 4KW max. You don't need any motorcycle license (A1, A2, A) to ride them, you need AM (moped), but you get that with your B (car) license as well. That's why they're really appealing for commutes.
i've been looking at electric motorbikes and like the look of this one - and the review sounds good - one problem though - i'm only 5'1 - would my feet be able to be comfortably reach the floor?
In that case, consider an electric motorcycle with a belt drive. The forth coming TC Max is one example. Having ridden it I can confirm it does make noise. Forthcoming in the Spring. Info and pre-order information here. www.green-mopeds.com/super-soco-tc-max-3000w-174-p.asp
I was seriously thinking about buying one of these bikes and I went on your website.I decided to put in for a quote to lexham insurance. My last bike about 6 years ago was a Honda 750 which cost about £60 to insure. My last moped was ego electric scooter which was £150 a year. The quote I received from lexham was £550 a year which is way over the top. Sadly until insurance companies stop milking the fact that electric bikes are cheap to run so they can bimp up the charge for insurance I have to stick with petrol
