I just use 90gsm printer paper, but the ink I use is slightly thinner so it doesn't soak through the paper as much. I think a heavier paper (140gsm) might work better if you find the ink runs when writing, or you can use felt broad edge markers rather than a metal nib and ink :)
Hi, COULD YOU HELP ME PLZ , I have a question about the calligraphy pens you have, in a book I have it is written I have to clean it after each use, but I still have ink in the cartridge and it will be a mess everywhere if I remove the cartridge while almost full, so really should I doing it after each use, and when not in use, do I keep them horizontally or vertically please ?
Hello! I rarely clean the pens and usually do a full clean through every few months. I use them until the cartridge is empty and change it for a new one without cleaning, it can create some nice blended ink colour effects :)
I disagree, calligraphy is about meditation and considered strokes. This is an example worksheet for people to learn the form of the letters, in a body of text there would be more flow
