Ive seen The complete opposite hard work always trumps talent although There might be some areas that are not achievble without talent but Thats on The elite level. If you work harder than everyone around you you become better at whatever you do. But If you are stuck/only allowed medioker effort then yes your theory might be True. But really its on you to make an effort. And talent is rare not common.
They're not truly incredulous, they're simply acting incredulous. I don't think the average guy can fathom just how non-reality/truth oriented the social behaviour of the average woman is. They just say stuff. It serves a purpose. That purpose is not telling the truth or being honest. In some cases they are so comfortable with spouting nothing but socially useful nonsense that the truth actually terrifies them because it is so deeply repressed. That is not to say that guys don't do the same thing. But generally it takes a lot more drilling down and a lot more catching-off-guard to get real talk from a woman. ESPECIALLY in a group.

I've said this for years. We literally live in the movie "idiocracy". I stay away from most people and keep my circle very small and only include people who can see both sides because of how warped the majority of people's perception is. Im a pessimist by default. Losing allies and making enemies to me comes naturally as i hate materialism and money philosophies forced on me like optimists saying be happy or get punished as this makes angry people into violence driven people wanting to kill people in revenge.
As far as attractiveness: i have been a skinny nerd, a roided out monster, a fat mess and now a normal buff dude. Being in shape definitely makes a difference, just based on first impressions people have of you.

I think the non-religious right is closer to the truth if only because they, unlike the left, acknowledge that hierarchy is natural. What they think determines the structure of the hierarchy varies, but at least they understand that basic truth. The bootstraps/meritocracy focus is a product of the new right. The old right believed in inherent superiority of the nobility and royals over the commoners due to breeding i.e. genes. Interesting that in many ways they better understood what determines natural hierarchy than modern people do.

I think my awareness of this problem in recent years has given me much more patience to actually listen to opposing viewpoints and counter/dismantle peoples positions in a calm and almost surgical way. One of the best ways to do that, especially if you already know what the reality of the matter is, is to go the Socratic method on them... Anyways, I actually do watch a lot of left wing content, including Hasan Piker, and I'm curious about what you think is "weird" about his politics? I think he has mostly been consistent, the only thing I did find weird is that he would even consider going to the DNC, that was probably the most out of character thing I have seen so far.

I can't give an exact date at this time, but perhaps I will as the time grows closer. So if you have yourself a bunker and a bunch of MREs and guns and ammo, they will do you no good. This planet is going to be destroyed along with all of you on it. But we are choosing a select few that will be saved. I really like that you are such a truth teller. It seems sad to me though that such strength of intellectual honesty often leads people to be very pessimistic about life. We can’t forget that men can die of truth. It is not a good end in and of itself. Only to the extent that it is used for reaching a state of vitality should truth be sought.
I think if men are helped, encouraged, and maybe even somewhat praised; most can find a genuine interest in almost anything. Perhaps even a passion. Woodworking, blacksmithing, electronics, radio, networks, aircrafts/avionics, art, music, food, leatherwork, other crafts, etc. The problem in America is everyone is trying to make a buck. Why should they help or train you unless there's a monetary gain? Almost every hobby, specifically if you want to excel at it, requires that some monetary threshold be crossed. I'd change it so many local clubs lacked entry fees for newcomers. And so at least once a month the clubs held a newcomers night; where amateurs and newly interested people can ask question, get tips, and maybe even get some help. Everything is like a $50 sign up fee and then a license fee and most already have a group so you're not welcome. It's depressing and overwhelming.
