This was the first time aang has ever shown a intent to kill someone he murdered the bug/bird thingy who was activly fleeing n wasnt a threat anymore just to release his anger for tryin to steal momo which he was already mad to begin with idk if people notice this or forget it but when we get momo aang says that him, appa n momo r the last of this place n taking appa is taking his best friend n one of the few things he has left from when the air nomads were still alive its so sad
"I love the uncle!" You are already ahead of the game. But you have no idea yet how MUCH you will love the uncle. Poor Sokka. At first he seems kind of Suckka. But wait until he gets some training!
This was Toph’s first exposure to the Avatar state. Imagine being blind and suddenly a thousand angry voices come out of nowhere screaming “TELL ME WHERE APPA IS”
People talk mad shit abt this show bruh... understand love is the primordial form of magic and Natsu fighting for his friends reached it. I feel like in the instant when his guildmark glowed he touched the origin of magic. He felt so much rage and passion for the life of his friends, it was more powerful enough to beat Zeref. IIf yall don't understand how powerful this was, that's your fault bruh, not their's YOURS lmao
This season is a mixed bag, a lot of weird story and pacing issues, cause the number of episodes or smth kept changing, and ugh the love triangle, but I gotta love my boy Zanes spotlight. The music is great too, techno elements. Even sadder seeing how well they work together in this episode. never noticed that line about Julien sad
Seeing Aang *actively* go for the killing shot on a living thing, despite how much he treasures all living things, is one of my favorite things in ATLA.
He didn't go for a kill shot, Momo was fine. Dude straight up murdered that Buzzard Wasp. This is both Aang's darkest episode and Katara's brightest. She REALLY saved ALL their lives, honestly. She even saved some sand benders for extra credit.
@@krazytreRTM Going for the kill shot implies a fight, or at least conflict. The buzzard wasp was actively fleeing, nobody was in danger, but Aang wanted it to not be alive anymore.
@@haku8135 When I said "killing shot" I meant that he shot at the buzzard wasp with the intention of killing it. I'm not really sure what implications you're referring to. 😂
I'll be honest the love triangle between Jay, Cole and Nya is probably one of the most annoying elements of Season 3 and I really don't see the reason why they had to introduce it since it seemed like Nya and Jay were the endgame couple and Cole never expressed interest in Nya before so it's not like this was ever naturally built up or anything? I will say seeing Wu being forced to fight his former students is surreal to and sad to witness. I also really love Zane and PIXAL's interactions together and the fact that Zane was willing to give up half his life for her is truly sweet. I also like how now that they've shared their power source together the two of them rely on each to be lethal fighting machine
I also think that the love triangle was really annoying. But considering it... I can understand the behavior of two parts of it. I understand Nya's confusion. Sure, her love for Jay was built over trust and friendship, not to mention how she loves funny guys. But knowing that Cole is more compatible to her caused her to see him in a new light and gain an interest in him, a faint one, but still existing. And I understand Jay being angry at Cole, since we all know our dear lightning ninja is insecure, especially regarding Nya, and has a tendency to overreact and project his feelings. But Cole... I have to say I got disappointed on him. He could have been the bigger man and try to disassociate himself from the love triangle, to show Jay he had no interest in Nya and never had, in order to save their friendship, instead of trying to get back at him, which was the only reason for him to pursue her romantically.
This episodes is one of the best episodes that show why I love ATLA. It shows that characters break. The nature of Aang changes this episode and it shows how pain can break a caring person and compromise their morals.
NOT SO FUN FACT: AVATAR YANGCHEN had her bison blown up by a combustion bender. The operation was orchestrated by chaise, a woman who wanted world power but Yangchen stood in her way.
