I bought the same kit but I 'm not happy with the tips, because none of them is fine enough to draw detailes and miniatures... got an extra set of tips from Amazon but still not satisfied. Cheaper wood burners available on Aliexpress come with finer tips, but they don't work as well as this one (less hand control, heat up slowly). Frustrating.
Thank you! I bought this exact kit at Walmart earlier today. I didn't realize there were two more under the booklet! :) I have some metal I want to cut tomorrow, I think it will go so much better with this than the other Dremel wheels I used! Those weren't for metal but worked anyway!
Fair call mate, but from a journalist who has companies trying to give me "free stuff to review" every five minutes, you'll keep a lot more integrity if you review stuff you've bought yourself. Especially so, then you can appropriately critic the gear. I mean, if it's rubbish you can say it is. Or at least point to the issues that it has. Example: The "Ezy-connect" drum sanders are rubbish. I've bought four of them, and every single one has had the sandpaper drum spin on the rubber or run up and off the drum within 3 paper changes. I still use the dremel, but I've gone back to the manual screw rubber type ones, and not having issues. Even if you don't want to put any shortcomings in the video, make sure you reach out to the marketing team at Dremel and let them know any issues youfind. Hopefully they can then look into fixing them. @@ClevesBackyardWoodworking
Yeah , as super helpful snd saved hours of trial and error, I would definitely just find a something laying around or disect a cheap harbor freight rotary tool before I give dremel more money for a tiny piece if metal. Hell, next dremel that breaks I'm just going to harbor freight and buying a cheap workhorse rotary that actually holds different sized accessories not just toothpick skinny ones and pay the two year warranty free replacement. And just swap it out every year in a half
