Hiii my employer laid off on1.31 but I don’t know there are such a four weeks limits time at all, cause same time I’m trying find new work,now it’s 3.5 😂🥲 but I didn’t find a better new job yet… I’m getting pretty tight now,,, but I passed just few days of 4 weeks. I don’t know how to talk to anyone and as a make sense excuse to still let me submit 🥹🥹🥹

@brizzchizz7302 1 minute ago I was just denied EI because I ‘ quit without just cause’ even though I have more than enough hours and told the agent I need to work close to home at the moment. I was being transferred to a new Site hastily that was too far as am needed around home for those extra 2-3 hrs per day. I am also able to work and have such lined up in the same vicinity as my old job. I have text message proof of my old Foreman even asking if I would rather take a layoff. I think maybe because I didn’t try and go out to the new Site that you guys saw it as me giving in. What new information should I provide thanks

@@azanfahad8769 a person cannot claim EI if outside of Canada. A person DOSE NOT qualify to receive EI, if they pay taxes, they have to pay EI premium. If a person is receiving EI while outside of Canada, oh boy they are in a great mess.
A person definitely get EI if he just went outside Canada temporarily. ( Vacation or some thing else) . He will not be in mess you mess. You must have to update your knowledge . He just need to inform the authorities that he is outside Canada.
@@azanfahad8769 best thing to do is call then and ask them. The bottom line is that the person will not get the $$ if outside of Canada, exception to this rule is visiting sick family member for only 1 week they will get paid. By the way I have worked in EI so I know the entire law. Don't miss lead people.
