The concept of "traction" is often not understood. People get hung up on tire systems, or maintenance intervals, or just not paying attention to the tire, use case, PSI. the list goes on and on. For what we do, I can't see myself not using at least Tubliss Rear , ever again..
Yeah.. As the guy in the back. Rocks are THE reason I hang back. You f..kers hit me, every time. And I'm over it.. That and the dust. It happens every time, one of you, will throw a stone the size of a golf ball, at me, and it bounces off my helmet, the hand guards, headlight, who knows, but a rock large enough to hurt me hits my bike, with intent.. Then I just back off and wait, to the point I really should know better by now.
look into seeing if you can level the audio more from the footage, " lower the soundtrack volume" over the whole clip. it would sound better if we could hear us talking, and the sounds of the scene, VS hearing the sound layover
I love his posture. You can tell, he's f..king over, all this nonsense.. Hahahahahha He should have chosen better riding friends.. Now he's stuck with us and our nonsense!
Some gnarly bails on this one. Almost made it up @1:33, so close. Would you mind if we featured this in a new moto compilation were prepping? Would be including your link in the comments and in the credits to drive more traffic to your vid. (Sending more subs and viewers your way)
OMG! TY for this video! Yall just made up my mind about running this pass on vacation next fall. Absolutely breathtaking, and I am SOOOOO excited about Engineer pass!
Thats what happened to me a few days ago! Front wheel just washed out and I flew off.. is there any way to prevent this? Or was is just bound to happen
1 stay out of ruts... 2 steer by leaning the bike not turning the bars. 3 keep on the gas, on a four stroke use that torque to make the front end lighter... 4 grip the bike with your knees and legs more than your hands... we all fall, and its gunna happen... but this in my opinion was preventable :P if u want i can post a video tomorrow of me and me family going through washes at 50-60mph on knobby tires... (if we are reated from todays ride :D)
+Subaru Blue there are some things that would have helped me not crash as hard, but I don't think it was preventable. Even if I had a paddle and was holding it wide open the sand was very very soft that day and it had been fluffed up by people earlier that morning, making this particular spot deadly for a motorcycle lol
+j and j adventures Idk, from the footage it doesn't sound WOP, and when you hit the rut your front wheel turned because it was digging... You were there experiencing it I wasn't so you are probably right :) Hope your collar bone healed well, I know mine never fully healed correctly :P
