Definitely trying this. I always want to wear my hair down but it's too oily and too curly so I waste so much time flat ironing it. This seems perfect. Thanks for sharing.
I put my hair up in a pineapple and put on a scarf at night. Each day I go out, I just take it down and shake it out. Sometimes I may use a leave in spray to freshen it up after a few days. Mainly on my roots since I work out. Other than that, I don’t really do much. Hope that helps 🤗
Good god! I wish I saw your video like earlier part of this year cause ohh my God ohh my God everything you say not to do I did and guess what I look like a chilla pet but I'm gonna rock my chilla pet because and nobody got time to be looking like two inches here two inches I got the roll with it but thanks for the video I am a subbing now.
This salon is located in Winter Park right off of I-4 and is about 10-15 minutes north of Downtown Orlando. It’s Salon Ciseaux, if you would like to put it into your GPS to get an exact distance from where you are 🤗 hope that helped.
If you plan to long term transition, then I suggest that you slowly start clipping away at the ends. The two textures will become challenging and more fragile, making it prone to breakage. I find it best to get a trim every 4-6 months maybe. This is what I did and it helped me be able to transition long term. Everyone is different so always do what you feel is best for you 🤗
My go to lip combo is Mac lip liner in Stone and Revlon lipglosses in Super Natural and Snow Pink. I posted a ‘shorts’ video of my lip combo that you can check out 🤗
The moisturizer that I used in this video is a good one. I’ve used so many great moisturizers that I highlight in different videos of mine. Always using something different. I haven’t done the LOC or LCO method in years. My routine is usually a leave in and whatever styling cream and gel of my choice for that day. I don’t really use oils at all.
@@eisham2002 also, if doing the LOC or LCO works for your then by no means am I telling you to stop doing it lol always do what works for you. I just personally don’t do those methods. Not for any specific reason. Just wanted to clarify lol
Please consider finger detangling with oil on dry hair before you shampoo. OIls are great for slip, protect hair from hygral fatigue, and make detangling so much easier and faster than detangling on wet hair with conditioner. The hair is most fragile when wet, so you might be breaking your hair off in the long term if you detangle when wet. I resisted the prepoo for years, but I was so wrong to think it would add time to my wash day. Prepoo and finger detangling with fractionan=ted coconut oil shaved 1 hour from wash day. Use any oil you prefer. Also, hair porosity is the most important thing to learn about your hair. Once you know your porosity, you can find products that work for you and avoid becoming a product junkie.
I tried finger detangling and will never do it again 😂 lmao it’s not for me. It in fact does take longer and honestly, I don’t get breakage from the detangling when wet with conditioner. Likely because I’m gentle and not just ripping through my hair. But we all have our preferred methods. That’s why finding what works for you as an individual is so important regardless of the endless information out there. And yes, knowing your porosity is key in understanding what products can work for you. I have low porosity. Thank you so much for your suggestions. I’m glad you found a routine that’s working for you 🤗
Thank You For Sharing Your Hair Journey. I have been natl for years now but I have become lazy and just wetting it adding oil and slicking it back in a bun...So boring. This has given me the motivation to dig a little deeper and do some twist outs like I use to do. I still do not know how to do a wash n go. I am going to book an appointment with a stylist(natl) that I use to go to & get some lessons. Vanity No, Just Appreciating what God gave you.🔥💪🏾💯🌹
I’m so glad that this video was helpful for you!! It’s so easy to become lazy because natural hair is a lot of work 😰 but try getting back to your twist outs like you said. I’m sure you’ll be so happy that you did. I love a good twist out!! I need to do them more often 💜🤗
I’m assuming you’re referring to transitioning. It depends on how long you want to go for. I transitioned for two years. Some people do a year, some people do less than that, and some just big chop and don’t transition at all. It really depends on you. You can do whatever you want based on how your hair is handling it 🤗
Your hair is gorgeous! I don’t think I can make my transition to natural as long as you did,but am definitely going to try. You look like you are natural, already!
Lol ok I was like um, she’s clearly Black?? But listened because it was a whole think in the title like ok maybe I’m wrong. I can see why someone might ask but I thought it was obvious
