My top 10 1. On GP 2. Intimate Sensation 3. Spikes 4. Beware 5. Hacker 6. No Love 7. Up My Sleeves 8. You Might Think He Loves You 9. Birds 10. Death Grips Is Online
I disagree with a few of these picks (cough Billy Not Really and Blood Creepin) but I like a lot of them too plus Bubbles and Anne Bonny in the top 25? hell yeah
Was gonna give this list a chance, then feels like wheel was the first up and lost all hope. Deep Web is the best song on the album, and I will defend it my last breath. No words can express my dissapointment.
@@jordanowen8208 I got a little out of hand...I hadn't listened to Death Grips in a while, so my blood pressure was high. I stand by it, but I was too harsh, I'll admit.
my turn, yayayay! gorillaz are my absolute favorite band so this a great chance for me to yap 1. (all time favorite) Fire Coming Out Of The Monkeys Head (HOLY SHIT, ITS SO GOOD) 2. To Binge (extremely fun to sing, good beat, great lore? background? whatever you will.) 3. Clint Eastwood (music video ver.) 4. Aries (always loved this one, always will.) 5. Re-Hash (ITS A SWEET SENSATION 🗣️🔥)
Yeah, the great Talking-Heads-Mystery: They appear in every ranking ... rock history, but I can feel it, too: I'll never get used to them ... too much intellect, too little emotion ? Don't know. And big THX for ranking the songs of Kate Bush that high
the EPs contain some of their best work imo like full moon (death classic), poser killer and steroids as a whole not to mention singles like true vulture
Have you ever heard some songs from the remain in light cover album by Angelique Kidjo? It leans a lot more into the afro-funk influences of the original (although maybe trying to give recommendations of off your least favorite band of the bunch is a fools errand) anyway love to hear peoples fair opinions so good video
i had roughly these same opinions when this was first uploaded but now i refuse to rank any song because im just that damaged by DG and love all their songs to an equal amount
The carry me ohio ranking hurt, i love that song with all my heart and ghosts of the great highway is one of my favorite records. Yet i think this is so much more valuable than the normal rym chart, it really got me to think about how we perceive music, i could not pin point why exactly i like kozeleks voice so much, i guess it feels melancholic, sorrowful, or just plain sincere, but to some it may feel overly nasally or maybe forced. What do you feel? What does it remind you off? It almost feels like theres a wall of subconscious ideas or memories that points our taste on a certain direction. Or at least that's how i sometimes feel about how i find the music i enjoy, it may seem like an issue of simple taste but maybe there's a lot going under the trunk. I guess that adds more value to branching out and checking out stuff that pushes us away.
i’m gonna rank them as well (not including cracker island but baby queen is my favourite cracker island track) 1.rhinestone eyes 2.feel good inc 3.empire ants 4.chalk tablet towers 5.valley of pagans 6.on melancholy hill 7.clint eastwood 8.stylo 9.5/4 10.19-2000 11.tranz 12.aries 13.rock the house 14.dirty harry 15.tomorrow comes today 16.humility 17.el mañana 18.o green world 19.every planet we reach is dead 20.new genius brother 21.pac-man 22.kids with guns 23.re-hash 24.november has come 25.kansas 26.desolé 27.sound check gravity 28.to binge 29.super fast jellyfish 30.she’s my collar 31.fire flies 32.m1a1 33.how far ? 34.broken 35.glitter freeze 36.some kind of nature 37.last living souls 38.souk eye 39.all alone 40.momentary bliss 41. latine simone 42.strobe light 43.orchestral intro 44.magic city 45.welcome to the world of the plastic beach 46.cloud of unknowing 47.man researcher 48.busted and blue 49.charger 50.punk 51.pirate jet 52.don’t get lost in heaven 53.sweepstakes 54.ascension 55.white flag 56.friday 13th 57.idaho 58.out of body 59.andromeda 60.let me out 61.lake zurich 62.saturnzbarz 63.sorcererz 64.slow country 65.moments 66.one percent 67.double bass 68.white light 69.hollywood 70.left hand suzuki method 71.submission 72.carnival 73.revolving doors 74.amarillo 75.ticker tape 76.little pink plastic bags 77.dracula 78.hillbilly man 79.bobby in phoenix 80.starshine 81.the snake in dallas 82.sex murder party 83.detroit 84.the apprentice 85.circle of friendz 86.aspen forest 87.shy town 88.we got the power 89.intro 90.hallelujah money 91.phone to arizona 92.halfway to the halfway house 93.the joplin spider 94.california and the slipping of the sun 95.the speak it mountains 96.fire coming out of the monkeys head 97.the parish of space dust 98.seattle yodel 99.skits 1-7 tell me if i’ve missed any because i deleted a song from my top 20 to move it around but. i forgot which one it was while moving it 😭
There are times in life where you just want everything to end. There are other times when you just want to listen to Doing It Stealthy at max volume and call your boss the R-word
