We in Hindu culture believe that God or Parmatma is Avyakta, Nirakar, Nirgun. We do pray God or take all efforts so that our Bhakti reaches to God. However, while worshiping God we offer prayers to God idol which is made of stone. But we should understand that the Idol is made by human, the pranpratista is done by human so along with worshipping and respecting the God in form idol we should also respect every human or indeed every living being. Every living being has the same parmatma tatva inside and hence when you are disrespecting any living being you are indeed disrespecting God. Refer the shlok of Bhagwad Geeta 9/4 मया ततमिदं सर्वं जगदव्यक्तमूर्तिना | मत्स्थानि सर्वभूतानि न चाहें तेष्ववस्थित: || There are several humans who are avyakta, nirakar and nirgun for us and hence they are indeed our God. Taking a very simple example just imagine you are in restaurant and you get very good food served to you so the chef is your God as you could not see him (avyakta), you could not see his shape (nirakar), and you could not see or know his Gunas (nirgun) similarly we get help from so many people every minute of life and all those are our bhagwanta itself so be greatful to every person helping you and that is indeed your bhakti towards God. Refer shlok of bhagwad geeta 10/19 हन्त ते कथयिष्यामि दिल्या ह्यात्मविभूतय: | प्राधान्यत: कुरुश्रेष्ठ नास्त्यन्तो विस्तरस्य हे || Every person has some divya gunas in him and those are not his own but given by God. You should appreaciate the same. Understand like everywhere ‘numbers’ have importance like while getting admissions, or while considering your wealth similarly in brahma also God gives importance to numbers ( Ank) and remember he counts how many Thanks have you accumulated as thanks in itself has “ank” in its spelling so help others and collect thanks it will definitely be counted in this brahma and you will get its fruits.
