My head phone mic does not work with rc 600. I used a mic/phone splitter cable, inserted mic jack to the input 2 in rc 600 and phone jack to phone output on rc 600. No sound comes out. I also inserted the mic input directly into guitar amp, but still no sound comes out. Any insight?

IMO if I had to pick just one, it would be the PRS CE. Right amount of girth and clarity, snap, lots of character. The Ibanez, as great as its design is, falls short in sound at least in this comparison. Notably, the Carvin is distinct, has clarity and sure offers bang for your buck, but I myself prefer the added girth and chunk of the PRSi. The peavey os also very appealing although it lacks some contour and highs.
super reliable unit. I've got it on my desk turned on at least for 8 hours every day, for about 4 years now, and I move it very often from home to the studio on a weekly basis, it has never had any kind of glitch, bug, power issues, etc. aside from reliability for live shows, this unit has excellent studio capabilities for use on a DAW as a USB sound card. It has two instrument inputs for wet recording, and it can also record the dry signals that can be routed back to the unit to edit the plugins after tracking the guitar. This releases the stress of finding the right tone before tracking, you can find it later when mixing. I also learnt a way to use the two send connections to plug my keyboard in, and I placed it in the end of the effects chain so it doesn't take any of the guitar effects. So basically you have 4 inputs available, and you can choose whether the 4 inputs take effects or not. and one more thing for live shows, you can program your shows on a DAW (if your drummer is happy with playing over a click track), and the DAW can switch the patches on the GT1000 through MIDI commands. You just need to set the right places for the tone change. So you don't even need to be in contact with the unit, you can just forget about it and let the DAW take control.
I inserted about 6 layers of paper in the toppers, now it responds every time I press. If it still did not work, cut the bottom part of topper. I cut the bottom part of topper, it did not work, so i inserted some layers of paper in it, it worked.
Wish rc 600 had settings to set number of times a loop repeats and I could set the order of tracks in which the tracks plays automatically. Would't it be the next level for looping devices ?

Dear Joe, is there any output on the unit RC-600, that can send only a click? Or a way how to do it? Most probably you do not need it but imagine, there is a real drummer, that must set a tempo. So either I connect his metronome via mide with the unit or I figure it out, somehow.

Yo tengo una boss gt 10 antigua y a un sorprende , Iré por la versión pequeñita por tema de trasporte , muy contento con BOSS son equipos duros y de buenos sonidos

It's interesting how guitarists don't feel the latency of a tube amp sitting 3 yards (8.9ms latency)away from them but somehow psychologically they're able to feel 3ms of latency in a digital modeller/Profiler.
You are correct there; guitarists typically don't feel latency below 10ish ms. Though your observation surely strengthens my point: Imagine a modeler that's 3 yards away and produces 3ms of latency natively. That's 12ms, and therefore very noticeable. Something to consider, if you use them live.
Es cierto, las signature mayormente es por el tacto y la calidad de materiales que hacen que te sientas cómodo, pero el sonido es casi idéntico, depende del guitarrista realmente que suene como una guitarra barata 👍🏻
I have tried lots of different modelers from all the different brand. Right now the BOSS GT 1000 is the best for me. There is a reason they have been one of the best for so long. One thing I love is you never run out of DSP power
Ive had my 1000 for about a year now after owning a 100 for about 15years.... There IS a difference to me. I love the design and was happy with the 100... but I couldnt go back.
Disculpa, pero porque hablas de la Sliver sky de john mayer si estas tocando una SE? Salen 5 veces menos que una PRS original. Con todo respeto a las SE hay un abismo de diferencia. Y soy un usuario de PRS SE. jajaja
Depende de el año en que la SE fue fabricada. Las de hoy en día (creo a partir del año 2020) están tan bien hechas que esa diferencia "abismal" que posiblemente había hace años ahora es muy poco notable.
Creo que eres el primero que dice algo que yo también había notado pero ya no estaba seguro. No suena igual que una Fender. Dices que suena como más comprimido, y sí, creo que va por ahí. Yo...soy más de mayor rango dinámico la verdad. Pero la guitarra tiene muy buena pinta, más que nada el mástil que es superior a muchas fender, incluso americanas. Ese rosewood ya no se ve en fender...ni ese acabado sin trasteos ni cosas raras. Me mata un poco la pala y los colores tan "cutres" algo que me sorprende siendo PRS que hace unos super acabados en el cuerpo. En fin, nadie hace la guitarra perfecta siempre te dan una de cal y otra de arena
How do you control the guitar fx patches in your external pedal from rc 600. I want to use different guitar fx with different tracks. I want corresponding input fx patch to a activate when i play differents tracks. How to do that?
One small comment - the cheap plastic switch covers are just not high quality, they should absolutely not put marks on your pedals. I would highly recommend the original brand, Barefoot Buttons, which are a bit more expensive but they function as they should and are much bigger diameter than the ones you show here. They never leave marks on a pedal. Thanks for your RC600 video.
Yo tengo una GX-100 y enserio me encanta como suena en vivo y en grabación, incluso muchos colegas han quedado asobrados con el buen sonido que tiene la pedalera
Hola. Saludos desde Costa Rica. Excelente tu explicación. Unas preguntas: 1. Puedo sincronizarlo con el Beat Buddy para no usar la percusión interna? 2. Lo has probado sumándole un octavador? 3. Permite hacer coros como el Boss VE-8 y similares? Qué tal funciona si le sumamos el Trío Band + Looper? Pregunto esto porque ahora mismo es lo que yo uso y me interesa valorar opciones. Gracias
