Thank you for the comment, Yes there's been a delay with the barriers but there fixed now,unfortunately as it was good for the services bound for Accrington.

@@atomicfrogtrains4820 I remember back in winter the barriers had got stuck in the down position, it had not interlocked properly and the signal on the platform was set at red and whilst the engineers worked on the down barriers they had to pass the red signal under command from the signaller in Preston. Those barriers are always going wrong

@@dragon225 It's usually a problem with the inter locking system, if the gates don't fully show as being down correctly then it can't show a green signal. I have also seen a problem when the barriers would not lift and this also meant neither road or rail could pass. I did get a good video of a couple of 66's dragging some electric locomotive through,

@@Ashworth-Media there was never a problem with these barriers when they were operated from the signal box but since that’s been removed and they are now operated remotely they’ve been nothing but trouble.
