I enjoy mending that in life that has been broken and long forgotten. Whether it be a toy or a lost soul, to be broken and survive to live again offers too much to lose for those who can times wounds.
A friend once told me once that I am "A crayon of a very different color who will never be happy in anyone's crayon box." As we are all colored by life - "Purposefully Eclectic" and "Indifferently Enigmatic" are probably good "crayon color names" for me.
I currently have 21 US patents and several others which I retired at 45 to research and complete. I enjoy horticultural research and am constantly experimenting with hybrid low maintenance growing techniques for high density annual flower plantings. I have several books I am writing, I am currently editing down one with over 1000 pages. Others involve research I have conducted and an assembling the results.
Played this out of my window during Halloween. Talk about flash backs from listening to this. Back when kids would still go door to door trick or treating.
We had this album when we were kids...my brother and I were reminiscing....he send me a picture. 😂😂😂 so I looked here on you tube to see if it was here. Lol!
First heard this from the library in the 70's. Found it at a junk shop a few years ago without the cover. Searched ebay and found the cover and put it on the wall in a frame.❤
I too had this album as a child and have always remember it . I don't what became of that album and have looked for it in my mom 's record collection , guess it was lost to time . However I think this is perfect for Halloween , this a treat hearing this again . Thanks for uploading .
What a joy! Thank you and Disney .... The intro monologue was my first attempts as a young budding actor to work sounds and replicate nearly 95% of these and scare the works needed a spook trick or treat and believe it or not my mom bro and I all got the screams down
I am sure this record inspired us to get inventive on the old cassette tape player. The thing if you set the tape in there a certain way would record at the wrong speed and what fun we had.
My husband and I ordered the rubber (hard) soled Knee High Fringe Front Lace Moccasins from Minnetonka about 8 years ago. As soon as we tried to pull them snug to tie, the laces BROKE on both pair. It was a combination of the suede having dry rot AND short pieces of suede GLUED TOGETHER TO MAKE ONE LACE. When I contacted their corporate office via email then by phone, the corporate office is in the US, they told me they would send us two new sets of laces for the boots but of we had any problems with the new laces we would have to pay for any additional ones. The phone conversation I had was with their then CEO. She apologized for the inconvenience and said it would take up to 14 days to receive new laces. I asked her, "It takes 14 days to ship shoe laces from Minnetonka, MN to Kansas? That seems a bit long." Her response was, "Oh, they won't come from the United States. All of our Moccasins, shoes, etc have been manufactured in The Dominican Republic for over 50 years now." I then said, "I see. On the inside of the lid it tells the story of what a rich and proud beginning Minnetonka Moccasins had because of your companies origin goes back to when people were moving West to settle across the United States. I gather like the rest of Corporate America, your proud of that legacy just as long as you don't employ people here to manufacture your Moccasins and shoes as they did up until 50 years ago. Had we known they were no longer made in the US, we never would have purchased them. Nowhere on your website does it say they are manufactured in another country. I find that deceptive." Not even a week later, their website reflected where there products are made. Good old fashioned Corporate America and their greed. It's disgraceful. ~APRIL LIPKE
This is awesome. I still have the original album of this. We used to put the speakers in the upstairs windows, scared the poop out the kids on trick or treat nights. LOL What memories I've had.
My dad would play this every Halloween. He would also dress up. Once he was an ugly, scary hunchback. A little girl came to the door dressed like a fairy 🎉. My dad said, "Can you make me handsome again?" Her eyes got real big and she waved her wand a few times at him.
Oh wow! I had this when I was a kid and I wish I still had it now. But, now I can hear a bit from my childhood thanks to you! Thank you for sharing! P.S. Perhaps this is why I experienced night terrors when I was a kid? 😕
You are a bold and courageous person afraid of nothing high on a hilltop near you're home 🏡 thier stands a dilapidated old mansion some say the place is haunted but you don't believe in such myths, one dark and stormie night a light appears in the top most window in the tower of the old house you decide to investigate and you never return!.
