I'm sorry you feel that way. My goal was to keep the video as objective as possible without bringing politics into it (it was also recorded in late 2022. A lot has changed since then and I have also learned a lot more about the region). To claim that my video is Russian imperialism is a major stretch and completely inaccurate. While I acknowledge that Russia has cynical motives for supporting Transnistria, the people living there have their own sense of identity just like any other autonomous region around the world, which is what makes it such a complicated issue. I completely support Moldova in their pursuit of EU and NATO integration, and even if they wanted to become part of Romania again, but at the same time I don't know if I would support forcing the people of Transnistria to completely change their way of living. It's a very complicated subject to which there is no real right answer. Thank you for your comment. I traveled to Ukraine late last year and will be making a video about it soon. In the meantime, you can check out my written experience on my website: www.wherethewindgoes.com/ukraine
A couple other highlights would be Bender Fortress and a visit to their modern caviar farm. There are also nice suburban areas that I remember jogging through.
What about the oldest golden treasure in the world (24,3 carats) - 4600 years before Christ in the Archaeological muzeum of Varna? It was found in 1972 and the scientists told the oldest civilization was on this land.
Amazing views!! 😍 Oh my goodness 🤤 Thank you for enduring the pain of the experience for your viewers ❤ I would have liked to see you drink some water… made me thirsty! 😂
Hi Rositsa! Thank you for watching, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Could you please send me some reading material as to what you are talking about in your comment? I would like to learn more.
@@wherethewindgoes Sure. I will try to find something in English as it is mostly in Bulgarian but you can also use Google translate. Basically I am referring to the fact that we are taught that the Bulgarian state was founded in 681, hence the monument celebrating its 1300 anniversary. . It is not true. It is much older. 681 is the date of an agreement between Bulgaria and the Eastern Roman Empire. Also Bulgarians did not come from Central Asia but are a local population. Genetic studies also show this.
