Nice video, glad you found all the trails! But please don't encourage people or yourself to climb down to the rocks at Cape Spear. Strong waves and riptides are common. Many a person did just that and were swept out to sea.
Sadly the building you see at 7:45, which was the Hotel Saratoga, collapsed. It was a colonial archetict building, and had antique furniture, with a luxurious interior design. I heard that the government is rebuilding the Hotel back to it's original archetict, and is using the material, that didn't receive any destruction, which is being salvaged to use as part of the rebuild. 🙏🏻
Do not travel to Cuba, boycott Cuban products. Cuba finances the repression with money from tourism. While the houses of Cubans fall destroyed, more and more investments are made in hotels, more money for patrol cars and weapons, more prisoners and privileges for government groups.
Varadero certainly looks nice. Because of the pandemic, tourism has fallen, additionally the US now bans American tourists from going to Cuba. Trump and now Biden reduced flights from the US to Havana only. That has also taken its toll.
For years American tourists have been going to Canada first and then flying to Cuba and not getting their passports stamped so no one knows they have been there. As a Canadian I've been to Cuba 65 times over 30 years and I hope to return in January 2023 ...
