Unfortunately, these devices can only be paired to one hub. If you want to use both system, I would pair it to your ring hub and user MQTT in home assistant to read the data off your ring account.
You can separate them if you want, but they already wired it in series out of the box for plug and play use. Removing the sticker will seperate the two batteries.
Speed wise, since this card I'm using is only running 1X speed, it's pushing about 1gb/s while a full speed Sata III can do 6gb/s. I'm just using this card for extra onboard storage rather then a boot drive. If you get a PCIE 4X card with NVME, it will be a lot faster then Sata.
You installed the fan in wrong direction, fans are better in air pushing against sucking, so if fan push cool air to the heatsink, you will get better result.
Thanks for the comment! I want to take it apart again and flip it the other way around to see what the results are. Probably will do that soon :). Appreciate the input!
Is it possible to have a sensor paired to both HA and the Ring hub (to use it to trigger the Ring alarm, etc)? Or does the sensor only pair to one "master" device?
Unfortunately the sensor can only be paired with one ZWave receiver. Fortunately, you can use an integration in Home Assistant to connect to your Ring account using MQTT to read data off of it and have it work in Home Assistant :).
I'm sorry that yours died in less than 60 days! I've been using mine a few years now and it's still running strong. I'm using it to cool down my networking closet so it runs every day like a champ! Hopefully your new one will do the same!
Not on this particular one :). Others maybe bundled with a stock fan, but I always try to get one without the stock fan since I like running aftermarket ones.
I phone 14 / 14 pro / 14 pro max Will it reduce the battery life of the phone and how many years can it last for gaming live streaming please reply bro😊
It doesn't consume that much more power. For me, I didn't pay much attention to how much battery life is lost due to me using it to charge my phone while using the 3.5mm audio jack. :)
Hello! Thanks for the comment. The speaker is OK, I would recommend getting a bluetooth speaker if you want better more crisp sound. If you want to use wire, you can use a 3.5mm cable and plug it into the headphones jack then out to an external speaker. Although, bluetooth make it cleaner for less cable :).
It supports USB 3.0 speeds. You can hook up a USB stick or hard drive to it and it will perform fine. It's also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices, but will run at USB 2.0 Speeds.
I came here to see how you use the remote control because it connects to my phone with the Bluetooth, but it won't take the picture. I was hoping this video would show me?
Hello. Thanks for the detailed video. What is the native resolution? Cause on amazon it mentions 1080p supported which kind of implies that native might be lower than that.
I haven't dealt with google home and nest appliance directly on the Show. I've been using it as my home assistant dashboard. I know that alexa has a skill where you can interact with your google products with voice commands, but from my knowledge I don't think videos can be streamed on there from a doorbell. If any viewer knows otherwise, please let us know!
@@GoodToCU88unfortunatly that's not how battery technology works, with the oem battery it probably has a PCB built into the battery much like the DeWalt one will.
To me, it's not noisy at all. Since it's water cooled and it has a decent sized radiator, the fan doesn't seem to kick up high at all. This is also with my PC at the bottom of my desk. If you have the PC on top of your desk, you may hear a slight fan sound when the room is quiet but it's not super loud like other fans I've dealt with.
It SUCKS! 😂 it constantly beeps, I mean over a year it has beeped nonstop every few seconds. We used it once and never charged it again….yet magically it lives…beeping over and over again. Stanley refuses to answer the question nor offers any assistance. Well, other to “make a ticket (guess a complaint ticket) and we will be in contact” Never do they connect back, 😂😂😂, I’ve called I don’t know how many times. Emails get generic replies. Online questions on their forum gets “a ticket……….” with each post from so so many people. The closest was to use duct tape over the air compressor line tip. It helped some, but it is not the solution….beep (pause) beep beep (pause) beep. It’s about to get throw out upper level window onto our concrete patio until is breaks. 😂😂😂
Hi, thanks for the review. i'm really interested in this - did you find any function for custom image settings? the image looks sharp to the edges and good light spread, but it looks over-exposed and i'd like to adjust contrast, brightness, colour etc.
So for whatever reason, your device was able to connect to your Z-Wave network, but without the S2 security. That happened to me a few times as well. I ended up deleting the contact sensor on my home assistant, reset the contact sensor, and then add it again. You defiantly want to make sure it can connect with S2 security for a more secure connection.
@@adamharris6557 Awesome, glad you figured it out. I deployed roughly a dozen of these sensors around my house and ran into that issue a few times, but unpairing it and repairing them got them to S2 security. I am using a ZooZ USB Stick, latest z-wave protocol. Maybe try upgrading your Z-Wave adapter firmware?
I want to buy this monitor and connect it to an Asus Ally X handheld console. Can I power the monitor from one type c port and display the image from the other? My goal is to prevent the handheld console from providing both display and electricity power. I think that performing both functions from the PD type c port will increase the thermal load on the handheld console. Am i wrong? Wouldn't using two separate type c inputs of the monitor reduce the workload of the handheld console?
I've mainly dealt with the monitor for laptops that provide power and video from a single USB-C port. Using it on my Mac and PC, I don't notice any more thermal increase than the normal use. I'm not sure how Asus Ally X will perform on this, but if it's engineered correctly, providing power and display to a single device shouldn't cause thermal spikes because USB-C can provide the bandwidth to do so.
Is this mic good or have problems? A comment has been made here that there is a problem with the wire inside the mic. Is it true? Looking forward to buy this mic, can you let me know if this mic is suitable for long time use without any problem??
Hello! Thanks for the comment. I've used the mic a dozen times and haven't had any problems with it. To this day it still works, but it's more of my secondary mic and not a primary one.
You simply just set the temperature using the buttons on the front of the panel and the fan will kick on and off based on the temperature setting. Super easy!
Hi, thank you for your review. Whereas it's been a while that you are using it I want to ask, is it good same as first days? Any diminushion in picture quality? actually my studio is small and I'm thinking to buy a projector. My maximum usage is 2 movies per week. Do you think this is good for me or it's better to buy a small TV?
Hello! Thank you for the comment. I've used it a few times, mainly for outdoor movie viewing in the backyard or at a friend's place. So far, it's still holding up well, but my usage on this is low since I only use it outdoor most of the time. Your mileage may vary since you may use it more often than me. However, so far so good for me with the few times I have used it. :). Prime day is around the corner, you may see this at a better deal if you wait a week :).
Hello! Yes, it will work. It's backwards compatible. The only downside is that you won't get the full speed of a usb 3.0 device with a 2.0 cable. But if the device you're hooking into is usb 2.0 speed, it wouldn't matter.
Hey thanks for taking the time to put this film together. I have Hue indoor lighting and love my garden so makes sense for me to hue that up. It's super pricey though so on the fence. How many meter square would you say this lights up if it was a foot away from a wall? I was thinking of getting them more spaced out initially and add to it over time to get a better saturation. Any tips would be great!
I"m sorry, I wouldn't be able to tell you the square meter. I'm currently using it as ambient lighting for my home theater setup. It is really bright and diffuses the light evenly though. I would think if you have it outside in an open space it would shine brightly like other hue products.
