I'm honestly not a huge fan of the build. especially compared to some other microfighters in the past, it looks very barebones, especially compared to the older y wing microfighter (which is ironic seeing as clone wars era y wings were literally less barebones in universe) i 100% agree about the modern stud shooters though. entirely because the lever stays flush with the shooter when there's no stud inside it. on obi-wan's starfighter, they honestly look great to approximate the blasters on that ship. the rex minifigure is a perfect 10/10 for me though. the helmet holes are great for the newish macrobinoculars from the 501st specialists battle pack. the weld marks on the old rex figures were this gross brown, which made the figure look dirty, i love the new light blue weld marks. the only thing i'm not hugely sold on is the waistcape. it makes sense being printed because he needs to set down so it's understandable though. overall i think what this set represents is a lot more important than the set itself. it shows that lego is willing to put sought after characters into super cheap sets, which is fantastic. i generally prefer the microfighters over the mechs to get characters, because they actually represent something from in-universe. i just think this one in-particular needed a bit more work towards the back to look a little less blocks. the front looks fantastic.
