Nice! well done. Next time make a taller climbing one, for chubby angels to exercise instead of laying down 😂

How did you attach the top part of the shelves to the bottom parts. Screwing up from the bottom shelf pieces?

Looks great. Where did you get that bench with the circular saw cutting guide on it that drops down?

Loves awesome! Only thing I would change it the fabric, I would have someone who knows how to sew and have them make it so the slip on and off for easy washing

What is the pipe that you put the tree trunk into from, or did you weld it yourself? Beautiful cat tree!

How did y’all debark the tree?
@cohen860
@cohen860 Год назад
That's what I've been wondering! This is the second video showing an already debarked tree for this use. I've been working on debarking a tree section for this purpose but it's taking forever. Wondering what others do.

I can add that I find a small drawknife very helpful on a lot of areas. Various knives and gouges elsewhere. Hardest are the crotch areas. Another video I just saw showed the fellow using a sander that appeared to have a flexible base.

@@cohen860 The wood should dry well in a windy out of the sun but dry area before using it. With bark as it protects the wood from vermin and whatever. Then I remove thick bark cautiously with a chain saw, followed by a multitool.

@@greatfun7316 Just picked up a multi-tool! Thanks a lot.

@@cohen860 if the bark can dry for at least 3 months, the debarking job will be piece of cake. Good luck.

Enjoyed your process and looks good, but one good puke and those cushions are shot 😄

True. Or worse 😁 when leaving the cat litter box with not- so- clean paws. I prefer and have washable cushions . They could use bare wooden shelves with cushions on Velcro.

Holy shit, Guys, use clamps and not the other guys hands to hold things down. I had a heart attack waiting for you to break through the cut and take his fingers off! Other than that, creative build. Looks like the cats gave you the ultimate compliment - they used it!
