It was awesome. We were only in Georgia for a couple of days but tried to make the most of it. Gibbs Gardens was also cool. What kind of drone do you use?
@@VenableAdventures I actually paid for that opening clip from Adobe stock when I had a subscription. I have thought about purchasing a drone but it’s not currently in the cards. The cost, risk and time to learn is not worth it right now.
You’re right about that for sure. I want one but also hesitant. Was hoping you’d say “yeah just go get one they’re great!” 😂🤣 Thanks anyways. I’m now a subscriber. Can’t wait for more.
@@VenableAdventures thank you! I was very close to purchasing one last year. I went to Reddit to see what people use and kind of got overwhelmed by the choices. Some channels are simply drone channels, and others that aren’t are sometimes too drone heavy. I don’t think you’re missing much by not having one for now. They’re usually only good for an opening shot or a montage and that’s about it IMO.
Thanks! We only had a golf cart on Bald Head Island for our day trip. We usually book a house through Oak Island Accommodations. I’m sure someone from the office will have an answer. Or check with whomever you book with. Here is the company we used during Bald Head. carycartco.com/golf-cart-rentals/bald-head-island
What a great video. My husband and I were researching Oak Island and came across your videos. What a beautiful place it is, and so many things to do as well. Thanks for sharing.
@@shannonchampion6690 Thanks so much! Oak Island has become a staple for our family. We’ve vacationed there several times and this is the first year we visited neighboring Bald Head Island, which is worth a day trip. Hope that you and your husband get a chance to go!
But then who would want to watch a vlog just about that? It is a shame humans that have polluted our beaches including this one. It's not the only one. And I doubt it's the most polluted.
Oak Island, NC is our favorite place to visit. A quiet beach with friendly people. If you missed my first vlog about the area, check it out here! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G3vTTg841q4.html
@@mpaige7081 I admit there are areas on Oak Island that have less beach further down. The beaches closer to Caswell however are wider. I’ll have to visit Sunset Beach sometime, thanks for the tip!
Owned a home on Oak Island for 25 years, been visiting here since 1978. Was once a wonderful place to live and visit. The local government has destroyed what was once a gem. Money hungry government, too many government implemented rules and regulations. Now Everyone must pay to park to visit the beach with absolutely no need for the money, just money because they can get it. Too many new homes being built with inadequate roads and highways, crowded and congested everywhere you try to go. To the younger folks they have no way to know or understand how Oak Island used to be just a few short years ago. Lately I have heard so many people say they hate Oak Island, never used to hear that from anyone, never.
