I totally get you. I have certain decks that keep 0 proxies in and play. I like to get the real cards so I can tournament play them but with a kitchen table game proxy play your proxy jewel lotus, mox diamond then drop a grim monolith then pass turn.
Hi thanks for commenting however this is legal as this hybrid mana highlighting a choice of mono black or white and does not change the colour identity of the card. If you haven't already considered subscribing to the channel why not do so.
i own both commanders and let me tell you....new atraxa is busted lol start blinking that and boy your lethal combine that with omniscience, negates, removals or cheating out big creatures or have infinite combo in hand its gg
Thanks for commenting. I agree the new atraxa is awesome and with blink effect's she can rule the board state rather quickly. My preference is for the OG one but I love the card. It's a definite inclusion for the cube me and pod are building. If you're not already why not think about subscribing to the channel.
New atraxa is niche? And worse than the original? I definitely don’t agree with that. You do realize new atraxa is a multi format all star and the original one only saw play in commander, and only in one of three strategies being +1/+1 counters, poison counters, and planeswalkers, and now there’s more modern commanders for each of these. +1/+1 counters get a new commander every month, guff is a much better super friends commander, and poison is probably better served using toxic with Ixhel. The new atraxa made new decks in standard, pioneer, modern, and even saw experimental play in legacy and vintage! Not to mention being on the top tier of CEDH decks. There is no comparison here, new atraxa completely outclasses the original
They're being measured as commanders. Not their impact on various other formats. OG atraxa supports several kinds of architypes new Atraxa just says draw a bunch of cards. But to draw that bunch of cards you need to build your deck in a way to satisfy the conditions of the draw. Basically OG has a plan and knows what it wants to do, New will let you do whatever you want but makes you build the deck in a certain way around it.
@@CommandersKeep-ku9go I’ve used this deck for a few times in a pod. Gotta say I love the chances of Gishath effects with this one. I’m not a fan of temple of the false god, Taiga is too expensive for me to put in this deck so I replaced it with Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion. Do you have suggestions for another non basic land? The ramp is crazy once this gets going and it’s very easy to ascend. What are the 3 creatures you tutor for in Worldly Tutor and Congregation of Dawn? For me it’s the plant Dino, the Regal Begemoth and the 3rd creature would be situational. I guess the Congregation is used to guarantee Gishath’s effect more. I removed Shatter the Sky cause I don’t want opponents drawing a card and Star of Extinction cause I feel they’re too expensive mana wise and it needs Zacama to untap lands. Also, Temple Altisaur to protect my dinos from the board wipes. I got Teferi’s Protection and Clever Concealment for a chance to protect my dinos. They’re always gonna be the target for board removals and usually don’t last a turn. The Tarrasque might be too slow to play and the game is usually over by then. Do you have suggestions to replace this creature? Fun deck overall but it sucks to be targeted :( my fave enchantment card in this deck so far has been Shadow in the Warp! Dinos are still too expensive but the 2 damage did a lot of work in a commander format
