overall great movie and even better soundtrack thank you Mr Basil Poledouris and I think he should have a monument for that in every country in the world:P I would definitely go to such a concert and such music evokes so many emotions
This music always brings me to tears, so haunting. I am 81 and have requested it to be played at my funeral which i hope will be far in the future. Love to everybody in this so impersonal current world🥲🥲
Оркестр прекрасен! В вокале слишком много вокала, увы. Пример того, как не надо петь именно в этом произведении. Хотя вокалистка однозначно талантлива.
such passion. so amazing, I bought the soundtrack on tape at my local record shop after my sister took me to see the movie when I was a child. It is so good to see this wonderful soundtrack played by an Orchestra like this
On the day my father died, a good friend drove me to the hospital. Later that day we got drunk and much later we watched this movie. Since then I have associated this soundtrack with it and love it even more.
This music sounds way to clean. The choir is to perfect, it should sound a little bit dirty. Also I think the sequencing is wrong. They follow the film, but that is not right for a concerto. It's right for the film, but it is wrong for a piece of music. When you end the Conan concerto with the "Riders of doom", you have a real banger at the end that would work much better. The whole sequencing should be: 1.Battle of the mounds 2.Orphans of Doom/Awakenings 3.The kitchen/the orgy 4.The tree of woe 5.Riders of Doom In this way you cover all the different themes of the soundtrack and end on a high. Much more interesting.
