I think a lot of people tend to focus on the more obvious reasons for Leona not liking Malleus, but I do think that it runs a bit deeper and more personal than that for Leona. I don’t see people talk about how much his first year at NRC probably meant to him. For the first time in his life, he was able to exist outside of the shadow of his brother and be properly appreciated for his strengths. More importantly, Leona finally got to be first, especially when it came to Spelldrive. Then comes along Malleus who completely destroys Savannahclaw, who has historically done well with the sport, with presumably little effort. What Leona managed to build for himself gets ripped away from him and he gets the abrupt and agonizing reminder that it doesn’t matter how much he tries, that he’ll always be second to someone born lucky. Any healing he managed to do in that one year from the emotional pain he suffered probably got undone in a second.
Crowley to Mc is like one of those parents who always talk about tough love but still spoil them. Also, I’m not surprised if he wants more money imagine how much funds he has to spend on repairing the school after overblots
interesting. i'm kinda glad that english doesn't have honorifics outside of titles or completely different words (ex. sir or ma'am) it feels a little less formal and easier to keep up with.
Thank you for another wonderful video! I noticed that in the scene shown (1:21), Floyd refers to Vil as Betta-CHAN-senpai. While it still follows the ‘senpai’ for Housewardens trend, the addition of ‘chan’ places him in a category with Lilia-the question is, what view does Floyd have of Vil and Lilia that he would address them both with ‘Chan’? My current theory is that both have ‘taught him a lesson’-this excludes Leona as he dismissed Floyd’s challenge.
Ruggie, for me personally, is a character that I am caught between a rock and a hard place with how I feel about him. The first thing, I’ll give credit where credit is due. He is a rather talented, capable, and a hard-working individual. The second thing is, I can definitely sympathize with the financial situation that Ruggie grew up in and not really knowing where his next meal, and his grandmothers, will be coming from. My siblings and I went through a similar situation because money was very tight for my parents and affording meals, let alone paying the bills, was tough for them. However, the reason I have a hard time liking Ruggie and/or considering him a favorite despite having ways I can relate to him, is mainly because of his dishonesty and underhandedness. He also borders on greedy sometimes. To some extent, I can understand it more with him than Azul, but I guess I find it hard to look past for me personally. The two of them-Azul and Ruggie-are cut from the same cloth in certain ways. It is interesting for Azul as well, because I don’t really like him, too, despite having some ways I can sympathize with him, much like with Ruggie. Thank you so much for this video! It is nice having all the odds and ends jobs that Ruggie has done in one place! I honestly could not remember them all, haha.

Silver must have been blessed by god himself because how on earth is he still alive. Although malleus probably has stopped lilia many times, Silver has already eaten so much of his food.
Lilia's cooking skills and choices will make even Gordon Ramsay quit on his career. 😂 (Tho it makes me wonder if it was thanks to the trauma of surviving in the wilderness alone as an orphan till Maleficia found him.)
after watching a video today that included a person speaking in a a very thick accent i wasn't familiar with (cajun. which even though is mostly spoken with english and some terms from french thrown in; the words are almost "slurred" sounding in places, and if you're not paying attention, you may not understand what someone is saying at first), i had the thought that more effort could have been exerted in making epel's dialect make more sense with the original JP dialogue and story. at the very least, they could have adjusted the writing to actually make epel hard to understand when reading his dialogue, so it wouldn't seem so silly that no one can tell he's got a southern accent.
