Thanks for the tutorial. Only, I just can't get my head around this use of a sharpie to add fake 'patina'. I keep coming across people doing this in tutorials, and it just seems so unprofessional. After all those skilful and precise steps, using specialist and expensive tools, why not add real patina with liver of sulphur or something, and finish the job off properly? As a customer I'd be really put off if I thought it had just been drawn over with a pen. It won't stand the test of time, surely?

Pepe Tools is now saying to use blade butter or an oil instead of the regular disc cutter lubricant on the bigger disc cutters. They just gave me a big lecture, saying that the Cutter for the bigger discs is much tighter than regular disc cutters.

Hey I got one of these and was using stainless steel spoons as material, is this too thick? I broke the handle on it so I’m assuming so but I’ve not had too many issues with other metals. I saw a popular tiktok influencer using stainless steel and he seems to have no problems
