Really superb explanation sir, maybe the best possible one on whole of RU-vid. The way you broke down the set step by step really made the problem seem doable and easy to understand. Was able to crack Q1 and Q5 on my own but was stuck later. Although I would disagree with you on the set being classified as slightly intense😅 (It was super intense).
I generally don't comment on any videos but loved the easy explanation for lrdi pyq's as for a long time i was searching for lrdi videos with such a precise and easy explanation.
"Hello Exam Nest team, I wanted to express my gratitude for the LRDI sets on your channel. I've completed 99 sets, and they've been invaluable in strengthening my skills. Thank you for the quality content and the effort you put into each session!" 🙏
sir,in q1 ,train which started from terminal N at 6:50 am,will reach terminal M at 7:51am and will stay there till 15 minutes and will start moving towards N at 8:06 am Or Sir hmne idhr 15 min ka waiting time isiliye bola kyonki question m earliest likha tha
Two conditions must be simultaneously fulfilled - (1) A train must rest for at least 15 minutes after completing a trip at the terminal station, before it can undertake the next trip in the reverse direction. (2) The trains leave the terminal stations in every 10 minutes in the east-west lines. So the trains leave M at 8 am, 8:10 am, 8:20 am and so on.
The first two questions were easy. However, the assumption we made earlier played a crucial role in the rest of the questions. Under exam pressure, I may doubt my own assumption.
It seems difficult now. But in CAT, our mind works twice as fast and performs great job. Have faith in your preparation and in yourself. Happy Learning!
15. You do not need any other thing in the question except for they need 1.5hrs to meet ie the slower traveled for 1.5hrs at 60kmph hence distance it travelled was 1.5 times 60 equalling 90 the answer 57:07
Thankyou so much sir for providing such a valuable content. I have solved all the pyqs of quants as well lrdi. They are very beneficial for students like us who cannot afford costly coaching.I will give my best to connect more and more aspirants with this channel. Sir one request from my side is to upload a video to how we analyse which set of lrdi we have to do first.
Had it been written North to South and East to West, we would not have taken the other way movement. Otherwise we have to take both ways. Happy Learning!
Solving each set from pyq's 2017-2023 after solving these much pyq's I realised that every year in each slot there are 2 doable sets in 25 - 30 minutes but the only fact is we need to identify them and solve them by taking out information very neatly. Am very thankful to you , your way of taking out information and solving the whole set so calmly is really amazing. i learned many tricks and ways to solve the set. Quants also became easy to understand with your approaches. Hope these will also help in exam. It will also be helpful if you make a video on tricks and techniques we can use in quant and dilr during exam. Thank you sir!!!
It is given that no one is below 80th percentile in all 3 sections. There can be some persons who are below 80th percentile in exactly two sections or in exactly three sections. Happy Learning!
We are getting 0.25 in the worst case and 0.75 in the best case. It means it can never be less than 0.25 or more than 0.75. It must lie between them including both. Say there are three approvals by A, the the value will be 3/8 = 0.375 That is why option (4) is the answer. Happy Learning!
Sometimes we are not able to build the right approach. Make sure to memorise the approaches used while solving the sets. Keep it simple and keep it in order. Happy Learning!
Definitely. I firmly believe that the teachers who design CAT do their homework properly and create a unique question every time. Try to build a mental road map while solving the question. Will help you a lot. Happy Learning!
sir we can equate the area of triangle AOB first by OA and OB and then by AB and OD, so we will get x directly and apply the pytha in ODQ . ( AB = pytha in triangle AOB
"Thank you, Exam Nest, for providing such high-quality, free LRDI PYQ content! Your dedication to helping students excel in their exam preparation is truly inspiring. Keep up the amazing work-you're making a real difference for so many of us. Stay awesome!"
Thank you Satyam for you support and feedback. There are some important LRDI sets of CAT papers up to 2008, put in a separate playlist. Do not forget to solve them. Also, we have arranged QA questions from CAT and IPMAT (Topic wise) in separate playlists. Do solve them and specially the questions from IPMAT (The level of QA questions in CAT in 2023 was close to the level of IPMAT QA questions). It will definitely help you score high in QA also. Happy Learning!

FOR arun hostel to home question it is given that the return joruney took 30 minutes more , so if we subtract the time taken from home to hostel and subtract the total time taken from hostel to home and equate it with 30 minutes(1/2), the answer is different. can someone please help me on what i am missing out on
First of all the time take in return journey is more. So we need to subtract time taken while going from home to hostel from the time taken while coming from hostel to home and then equate the value to 1/2. Let the distance be 2D. So, (D/25) + (D + 5)/50 - 2D/60 = 1/2 On solving we will get D = 15 In the question we are asked to find the total distance travelled, i.e., 2D + D + (D + 5) = 4D + 5 = 4*15 + 5 = 65 Happy Learning!
We need to prove triangles GCF and FBE as congruent. Let angle FGC is x degrees. Angle GCF is 90 degrees (ABCD is a square). Therefore angle GFC will be 180 - angle FGC - angle GCF = 180 - x - 90 = (90 - x) degrees. Now angle GFE is 90 degrees (EFGH is a square). Hence angle EFB will be 180 - angle GFC - angle GFE = 180 - (90 - x) - 90 = x degrees. Now angle FBE is 90 degrees (ABCD is a square). Hence the angle FEB will be 180 - angle EFB - angle GFE = 180 - 90 - x = (90 - x) degrees Now the two triangles GCF and FBE have all the angles equal and sides GF = FE (Sides of square). Applying the condition S-A-S, we can say that these two triangles are congruent. Congruent triangles have corresponding sides equal. Therefore BE = CF = a Happy Learning!
