Love how he applies most of the concepts from this book on his own channel. Great work, keep going! Focusing on the value you can offer, staying consistent, and optimistic. I like the concept of summarizing the essence of crucial books to improve mindset, develop great habits, or improve personal finance. It's a quick and free way to grow and a valuable opportunity to take advantage of. Thank you for that, Book Simplified!

I am almost 55. I read this book recently. Also, recently I have lost 4 friends in their late 40’s and early 50’s. They all expected to have a golden retirement years. Remember to also live life to the full, as dying at 55 with a lot of money having spent years living frugality, is also a lost opportunity. Try to do 😊both if you can. Live life to the fullest. None of us are guaranteed a tomorrow. Just my 2 cents worth

Saving 10% is too small to grow wealth how do you see it
@booksimplified

I think it's just a base figure that you can start from. You can always adjust according to your own financial situation. For example, it could be a good starting point for some people who don't save anything, but they can also start from 5%. You can also start from 20-30% if you want. I recommend experimenting base on your own financial situation.

My parents were among the quiet rich before it was a thing. They were both teachers but managed to save money by only buying essentials from month to month. They invested mostly wisely ( there were a couple of bad choices). For many years my mom made her own clothes and we only went out to eat once a month. Every couple of years we traveled. One trip included going on a tour to Asia. One was to Hawaii and to my grandparents on the other side of the US every couple of years. Many summers we stayed home though. Most of their cars although nice were mostly bought used and then we used them for many years. They also paid their house off a few years early so that it was paid off by the time they retired. They enjoyed a great retirement full of travel. Because of the many years they saved and invested they were able to live just off of the interest from their investments and retirement checks.

Thank you for this. I hate my job and I want to quit like TODAY. But can’t yet. I’m the sole bread winner and this dead end job is keeping food on the table and roof over my head. I have a side hustle that is not bringing anything in yet. But it’s about time on that. I just want to end this miserable job and go full time with this hustle and make it my full career. I have done a lot of what was said in the video. Saving and all that. I am getting a small amount from intetest. But not to keep the roof. I just want to jump and take the risk. Quit the hourly paycheck and look at the big goal. Thank you again for this video. Very eye opening. 🙏🏼

This is a much better video than others I’ve seen here on YT because it discusses THE BOOK. Other videos have the creator’s own feelings mixed into the presentation and they say, “but you don’t have to do it like this…” Thank you for disseminating THE BOOK without biasing it with your own personal feelings.

The Richest Man in Babylon" is a classic personal finance book written by George S. Clason. It was first published in 1926 and has since become a timeless and widely popular book in the field of financial self-help and wealth-building. Set in ancient Babylon, the book is presented as a collection of parables and stories that offer valuable financial advice and principles. The stories revolve around characters who encounter various financial challenges and learn essential lessons from a wealthy man named Arkad, who is often referred to as the richest man in Babylon. Throughout the book, Arkad imparts timeless wisdom on money management, savings, investment, and building wealth. Some of the key principles highlighted in the book include the importance of saving at least a portion of one's income, investing wisely, avoiding debt, seeking sound financial advice, and taking responsibility for one's financial future. The book's enduring appeal lies in its simple yet powerful teachings, presented in an engaging and relatable storytelling format. It continues to be highly recommended for anyone seeking to improve their financial knowledge and take control of their financial destiny. find all the book here : payhip.com/u254750951
