Hello! We are the Hall family. We are partial empty nesters with three adult children, three grandkids, and one grumpy cat (R.I.P. Gracie🐈⬛)
We enjoy cooking, traveling, foodie events, and each other! We are excited and look forward to you giving us a look, subscribing, and providing comments on our adventures.
Cruising post-Covid is much different. People were cooped up during those years and Carnival gives travelers good rates. There are lots of people in New England and Venezia sails conveniently from NYC to a beautiful location that is very expensive for flights, hotels, and food while there. To other cruisers, other ships are crowded too while school is out. Comparing to a transatlantic cruise, BTW, is unfair. Demographics are totally different. Thanks to you guys for giving your detailed review. I will be on Venizia Oct 25-Nov 15 and will be appreciating you every day!
Having been on both of these ships within the last year, I have to say that our preference was for the Celebration! I preferred the setup/decor on the Celebration a bit better & the staff service was slightly better. It also didn't hurt that we had an Excel Aft Suite on the Celebration either:) Loved your review!
Hi @TamishaGrant! Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed the Celebration! We will be boarding the Jubilee soon and will let you know our thoughts on that ship as well. We appreciate you watching!😊
Hi @Sydnarella! The room itself was just a standard balcony room located on the floor they reserved for spa access rooms. Hope this helps. Enjoy your cruise and thanks for watching!😊
I cruised this Venezia ship twice. The first time for Christmas 2023 and May 2024. I would rate this cruise ship one of my best Carnival Cruise ship experiences. My food in the main dining area was great. My cabin was an oceanview with two bathing areas, a shower and separate tub area. My family and I enjoyed the entertainment and the cruise activities. I appreciate your comments and maybe this caused Carnival to step up their game. But I would definitely recommend cruise patrons to cruise the Venezia.
Hi @Iris.edwardsEdwards! So glad to hear that you had an amazing cruise. It sounds like they have stepped up, which is good! Thanks so much for watching!😊
Hi @ScottLara! You’re on to something with that one!🤣 We have sailed HA, but for a chartered jazz cruise and during those sailings, it was anything but! 😄Check out our vlog series on those cruises if you’re interested. Thanks so much for watching!☺️
Hi @charlottepeterson! First, you are SO late to this party😂. That has been said a bunch of times already…while you bully us…at home😂😂😂. Thanks for the view anyway!👍🏾
I don’t read other people’s comments…I am going on this ship in the future; just watching videos on the ship and I would never stay in an inside cabin. Just noticed a lot of negativity:( I enjoyed some of your other videos; greasy😂, right?
Different strokes for different folks. This cruise was terrible for us, but it may be okay for you. Coming for someone’s cabin choice is so small minded…but enjoy your time on Venezia!
Hi @karenmccullers! The bathroom was quite tight, but otherwise the room was nice and the perk of the unlimited access to the thermal spa was worth it. Enjoy your next cruise and thanks so much for watching!☺️
My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon on the Solstice in 2010 and we loved it. After that the Eclipse 2011, Reflection 2012, Solstice and Silhouette in 2015. Apex last year and next month on the Reflection. We prefer nice and quiet cruise ship like the Solstice class. The elders always sharing their cruises experience with us. Yes this is my type of cruise.
Hi @leols! We really enjoyed our time on the Reflection too! We will be on the Ascent and Apex soon. We really enjoy Celebrity as well. Thanks for watching!☺️
My wife and I went on the vista when it came out. I hated that ship for the same reasons yall disliked this ship. We started going on royal Caribbean and never looked back. I’d rather pay the extra money for royal.
Was there an extra charge on the menu if you wanted an extra appetiser or main course? If I went I would like a salad side with my steak but it doesn't seem to be on the main course menu, only the appetisers so was wondering if the menu still states the extra appetiser is an extra charge. The menu you filmed didn't go to the bottom so couldn't see.
Hi @kathyb! We believe that there was one appetizer and main dish per person. You could get more than one side item. I would ask about the side salad. They may provide it to you at no extra charge. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and have a great cruise!😊
