Fabulous! How beautifully condensed and on point. I love the complex , simple and actual exciting ,difference Trinny makes to our lives. Brings me memories of my beautiful Mother who uses lipstick as blush. As a make up artist this perfect technique is forgotten like face wipes at night.💋💄
I hate that interviewer. How dare she cut into his description when he is so enthusiastic about it??? If you run out of time, cut a question short, but not his flow of speech. What a narcistic b...
I absolutely loved this one! And you are the best. Your intelligence and talent shone through in interviewing these wonderful people! It is definitely a gift!
I absolutely love these podcasts. The guests are fabulous and I have learned so much. I was disappointed that you were waxing poetic about Cuba. There is nothing marvelous or charming about Communism. You may like the old cars but the people of Cuba deserve more. Their lives are stifled and horrible.
I’ve just discovered your podcast and absolutely love it. Memories being revived and dreams being made with the incredible tips your guests (and you) so generously share. Love, love love it! Thank you x
What a fabulous interview! Both are so relaxed, down to earth, and informative... Loving it! So pleased I found this podcast. And SO agree with Mark re Japan. 😁
Not too grand, too pretentious. In the good old days, quality was expressed in the details and service. Nowadays, it's all smoke and mirrors and max BS.
Christopher Biggins. Just watched him in Porridge with the great Barker and Beckinsale and so many more. I have the boxset of I Claudius, he's brilliant. And Poldark he horrible and brilliant at it. Looks great for 75. Thanks fir the laughs and dramas.
A memorable interview - makes me think that I should study the places I visit more. West is a traveler, and not a tourist, and travels off-the-beaten path to take us to places we had never dreamed of. I would love to see his library and the books that inspire his travels. His voice and ability to articulate what he’s experienced makes it all the easier to imagine these journeys. Well done to Tonya Rose for an interesting interview. there was a bit of cognitive dissonance The Peninsula in Istanbul doesn’t align with West’s advice to travel poor.
I, too, fell in love with Charles Dance in White Mischief. I agree with Charles that everyone should see Venice at least once in their lifetime. It is the most magical city. Great interview!
Dominic if you happen to see this, I've been to Kyrgyzstan on a snow leopard expedition and it's fabulous. I hope you get to ride in the Tien Shan. Look out for horse shoes in the field while you are there. I was lucky to find one. Have your guide arrange to meet a local family - they will invite you into their yurt and may cook for you. Few speak English, but they are very warm and welcoming. Truly an unforgettable experience.
I’m laughing about what you said that Switzerland and the trains😂😂…. I know it’s a clichė but it’s just heaven when you know there is not going to be a delay etc and they are always so calm!😊😊
Am I the only one thinking that Dominic West's biggest travel secret was the sexual affair he had with his co-star Lily James in Rome behind his wife's back. Now *that* was a great travel secret
