Hi mate, how about the rides without load and run 5-10psi? It still gives comfort without load or stiff? Planning to buy 1 for my dmax 2021 for loading purposes, but sometimes i use my truck without load.
G'day, thanks for your comment and great question! The ride is smoother overall and feels cushioned by the airbags in the rear. At the recommended height (included in the installtion instructions on our website) the airbags are essentially replacing the bump stop, they will still provide comfort and support whilst unladen. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact our friendly team. Team Airbag Man
G'day and thanks for the comment. Depending on the load on your vehicle would depend on the way the vehicle rides. It's important to note that the leaf helper airbags have a recommended height rather than pressure whereas our coil helper bags have a minimum pressure. Leaf helper bags often require varying pressure from vehicle to vehicle to acheive the recommended ride height based on the vehicles load. We hope this clears up your question however if you require any further information, one of our experienced Airbag Man Specialist would be happy to chat further if required. Team Airbag Man
G'day, thanks for your comment and great question! The crashplates are designed to protect the airbag from spilling over when the airbag is a full compression. This will eliminate the risk of any other components damaging the airbag. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact the team! Team Airbag Man
When using Schrader valves to air up your airbags is it better to have a valve for each bag or tie them together and use one schrader valve, so it works as a system?
G'day, thanks for your comment and great question! We recommend running the airline to each airbag individually to allow for controlled adjustment on each side of the vehicle. Often the weight of additional load may seem evenly distributed but in some cases, it isn't. That's why we recommend routing the airline seperatly and inflating the airbags individually.
Could you guys recommend an airbag with upper and lower fasteners? Ive build a custom vehicle and id like soft ride for the rear but i also would like to tow a boat or light camper from time to time. Vehicle is parallel 4 link. About the same length as a jeep wrangler. Its a hemi beetle... I made a Hemi beetle 😅.. for the streets

@@airbagmancomau Wouldn't you know i found the perfect thing. Seems as though the air ride suspension of the 5th gen dodge rams The front air shocks bolt up to the 3rd gen ram (the base vehicle of my build) no changes needed and the rear of my bug is %100 my own design parallel 4 link. So ill have to fab the mounts for the rears still. But the entire set of bags cost me $250. That worked out really well. Pass that information on if you find it useful.
Goodafternoon How are you doing, where can I get airbag suspension for nissan xtrail t30, please share your website and how I can purchase one for my nissan navara
No mention of how to install or secure the large plastic collar things that sit above the air line inlet to protect the air line. Also not mentioned in the printed instructions. Should it be tucked inside the high pressure collar to hold it still? If pushed up into the hole on the car, it falls straight back down and is likely to get crunched as the suspension moves.
G'day Aaron and thanks for your message. Please fill out the form via the link below one of our experienced Airbag Man specialists will be able to walk you through it. airbagman.com.au/pages/youtube-form
Here in Germany I have a Fuso 4x4 Camper with serious suspension problems. So I was really interested in your video when I read the headline. Unfortunately there is absolutely no information. How is the suspension installed, how does it work, how does the car drive, and so on. Nothing. After this vid I know as much as before.
G'day & thanks for your comment. Air pressure needs to be adjusted for the height of this airbag to be affected. If you have any further questions, please contact the friendly team at Airbag Man who would be more then happy to assist.

Im wondering are they supposed to gold air once the car is parked or do they release the air. Does compressor.kick on eveeytime you start car in order to.fill the air struts?
G'day & thanks for your comment. Airbags will hold the same pressure whilst parked & the compressor will only kick in when inflation is required to raise the pressure. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact the team.
G'day & thanks for your comment. Depending on the way your compressor is switched, you're right you can just purchase parts of the kit to suit your existing set up.

G'day @dirkbullivant5887, thanks for your comment. Refer to the vehicle manufacturer for information on towing capabilities. We do have airbag assist options for a range of 4WD's & caravans, for more information check out our website.
You quote inches. Why not metric? From top to bottom crimp plate. Is that overall the plate or inside measurement and how about printing maximum air pressure on a aluminum label that comes with the kit that you can affix next to the air valve.
G'day @ronvds4713, thanks for your comment and great question. We measure in imperial because the Firestone Airbags are designed in America and measure in inches. Operating height measurement should be taken from plate to plate. If you require any further information, please don't hesitate to contact our team on +61 7 3889 6556

G'day @kennyntozakhe7208, thanks for your comment and great question! Airbags don't increase the GVM of the vehicle and will assist up to the vehicles factory weight capacity. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact our team on +61 7 3889 6556
