Uploading stuff for myself. If "FFXIV -" is in the title, it's more for record-keeping purposes than for my enjoyment.
Everything's recorded at 30fps so as to not bog down my PC. I try to record during the in-game daylight hours for better visibility, but night makes for a better mood sometimes.
Currently making my way through Endwalker. Still have to go through ShB and EW footage.
This game is like a wife or husband for the female players, both uplifting & supportive of you to be better as a person. It also encourages free thinking, such as finding things to do while you wait for the dungeon que on the dps.
I lost my old account since it was tied to an email I lost ages ago. But having to suffer Realm Reborn again, Mela Lee felt like an absolute miscast for Yda. I love Mela's other works, but she made Yda sound like a goofy child.
honestly replaying the game again, this twist is pretty bad because Lyse literally still *is* just the Yda we know, just more serious throughout Stormblood. Instantaneous “new character” rather than character growth. This could have been written in many other ways to be more compelling. Real Yda died post-ARR, we meet Lyse who helps Papalymo after knowing this info, continue game. The most simple and common way I interpreted it in order to enjoy her character in Stormblood, even though I know the truth. Even the most tragic of changes where Papalymo had taken in Yda, the real Yda, because her sister Alyse died, and- and Yda’s not the sister who died. She’s been working her hardest and uses “Lyse’s” easy going, airheaded personality as a coping mechanism (the same way literally Lyse was pretending to be Yda but in a less underhanded way) But instead, convoluted “I’m actually not Yda, and because of that I will act completely different but nothing will change and I will still feel impostor syndrome alongside my comrades because of my impulsivity” and like I get it girl but dang, I have to make my own headcanon in order to make sense of your twist a second time
This revelation was completely meaningless to the player, except as making the plot of the following expansion slightly more coherent. Lyse started pretending to be Yda before even the events of 1.0. We never knew the real Yda. The Archons knew it was Lyse, but it didn't matter to them at all. Because why would it? Lyse was just as capable in her role as a Scion, and Papalymo was happy to work with her just as he did with Yda.
I'd say "I could fix him" but I most certainly could not... But that won't stop me from imagining a world where my WoL fixes him and takes him on an evening date at The Last Stand (the cafe in Old Sharlayan) and he questions the foreign foods and trivial notions and mannerisms but we have a good time anyway... What? No I haven't thought of this before, what do you mean?
@@Rhaethyn thats his problem though, he wants to do everything in his power to enrage the WoL to make his fight that much better (or in his words, succulent) 😔
I didnt really like Alisae much in stormblood because of this scene. But dang, did that change in Shadowbringers, now shes definitely my bestie (dont tell devil cat, he is very jealous)

I love that you can hear the emotions shaking Raubahns voice as he tells Nanamo its time to wake. Props to the voice actor, even though in general i prefer the previous Raubahn.
Finally found this....haha were it that I only could play all the games out there and have that time to play that I might enjoy this plot.... Alas I must but sup my thirst on such clips of villainy....knowing I could not commit to the full endeavor of living such a tale.
