Sounds mean ,what jets are you running, did u installed 18lbs springs and what is your top speed.,did you tighten down the flywheel heard they come loose out the box.

Iv got a build transmission coming and have a 4000+ stall sitting and once it’s on the dyno it’s gonna make 350+ on a stock 5.3 don’t forget with a tune

This is my first time doing a big Ls motor, lol , but I started with doing little engines like I’ll take them apart and take pictures where the parts went and put it back together later

Just pray they don't open your hood. Theres literally a blow off valve front and center right before the throttle body. Anyone who knows even the slightest about performance cars would see that and know there some hidden 🐌 somewhere 👀

Few years back my buddy had one and I got the lucky job of removing engine to rebuild and add some goodies (injectors, holley high rise intake, bt cam, lifters, headers, etc..) hey a side question, is the frame on the passenger side rusting/rotting on yours? I live in michigan and see it often, not sure if it's from a/c evaporator drain, or if it just holds salt in that area.
@@BleedingWhiteKnuckles yes in fact every tbss has rust there because of the ac drain line but it’s rerouted so now the frame is clean and no more rust
@@BleedingWhiteKnuckles they came from factory like that and when the ac leaks on the frame it pretty much starts to rust it and it keeps spreading but if you catch it in time like we did you’ll be fine , they put the ac right on the frame so that’s why it rusts there mainly ,
@@kinda4728 except its not a good time unless its a diesel, its a constant pain that makes it drive for 30 seconds before having a seal go bad in the turbo or it blowing gas out of the carb
If you put a round slide non CV carb on it it will work better, no need to go over 28mm for bore size too. Those motors arent very strong to start with, they dislike high rpms
Yea ik I put the stock carb back on and it dumps so much fuel so the turbo going back on now lol , and idk my thing loves the high rpm , thing will rev to the moon
what if you happened to run two seperate carbs, and ran the turbo to them. it would be harder to tune but it should take care of your fueling issue to some degree. Dont give up just yet!
Yea I already have thought of that but like I said I dont want to dump money into in rn besides that I can use the turbo for a bigger and better project
