I think musicians should start taking this synth more seriously as a part of their groups set up, just like they do with their Moogs, Korgs, Rolands and Yamaha's. I've had mine a year, and I've barely scratched it's surface of what it's capable of producing!.
First analog synthesizer? i dont get that just because its easy to program doesnt mean its a beginner synth. Then the Yamaha EX-5 must be for professionals only 🤣🤣🤣
this synth is destined to become a classic and collectible, the panel layout and mod matrix design are really well thought out, not too many buttons or too crowded, very logical
I love your enthusiasm! Knowing this adds value to the product and this is the instrument which I thought Behringer should have created and they did and of course went crazy on everything else to take advantage of the retro, vintage blah blah marketing with their economy of scale production model. Quality control is still on everyone’s “Mind” haha but if you luck out with a Behringer product, you really do.
Jakub, I was not convinced with the quality of its sound but you have made me think again. I was missing sine, but you demonstrated how to get that in a different video. The preset at 23:50 is that one of your own and if so, are they available to us? Thanks.
Hey, great video bud ! I loved your organ sounds ! I'am almost ready to buy one of these. Just need a little more $$$ -- my first synth ! Can't wait ! Hey, l'am gonna need some monitor speakers next, and l just love the look of yours. Would you be so kind as to tell me what they are. I'd really appreciate it bud. Thanks ! Subscribed !
I’m using a sustain pedal, but if you wanted low notes to decay slower than high notes you could use the mod matrix to map the note num to the decay of one of your envelopes.
“Forbidden” from my perspective is humor but it is also great click bait, be it intended or not. This is a nice trick and I did not know it was available prior so here we are. Sweet.
Dude, awesome. Can i ask if you can do an update to this video if you happen to have multiple Units that you can utilize the poly-chain function for? If not, I can. I have two DeepMind 6's and a 12D... I will happily pay you for your work here and post a video trying it if you like. What's your prediction of that method and these new sysnthesis approaches for these units? Lastly, can you edit this parameters easier in the iPad app integration
Analog sounds having to be turned into digital to be fed into the FX-processors and then be turned back to analog: isn't that a big loss in sound quality?
Back in the 80s a number of different synthesizers gave you the ability to drive the filters into oscillation but at some point manufacturers put limits on how far you could drive the filters and therefore they would stop before they went into oscillation. I'd sure like to know why they decided to do that because they took away some really cool capabilities of their synthesizers
Back in the 80’s? I think manufacturers were still trying to market synths to the Home Organist market or other people who may look at having too many options as a defect.
@@frankstetka7206 and in the 80s we had an explosion of disco and new wave synth bands that topped the charts and always looking for new sounds. Some manufactures may have been out of touch with their end users
I've owned a Deepmind 12 for around 4 years. I have used it really sporadically, I don't know much about synthesis. I am learning a lot from your videos; please keep them coming, you have a really pleasant way of explaining things!
