I've used both St Helens and Whiston hospitals as a day patient and inpatient several times over the last several years for matters mostly relating to my Diabetes which was diagnosed in 2017. Both are excellent hospitals and the staff cannot be faulted.
Unfortunately you have a problem if your Autistic, this is in the rehabilitation unit ( DUFFY) The catering team should take over the jobs of the nurses and specially assistant nurses who are untrained as long as you are not old. I have aspergers syndrome and if bin never bin treated this bad in a hospital before except of the catering team. You should have a a sign on the door No People with Autism allowed. A well Pal is talking care of it now.
