@@tguarino5430 that's how I control mine. I have my old phone setup on the dash and have it powered all the time. You can monitor what the camera sees to help you point it and you can change the settings through the app. I'm using an old iPhone but I believe they have the app available on android also. @@onlymyopiniontech bought the insta360 right before the sale ended then thought the best thing since i will use my phone for google map directions was to go ahead and breakdown and buy the gps watch & that way i can control & watch it per say best we can while driving in the mountains. So probably would've got a better bundle deal with the sale but such is life. Thank you so much. Do you usually record in 4K/60 or 4K/30 for road trips i am sure the 30 saves more sd card space? This is all new to me but I really want to create travel content :)
just wish that ace pro would set other type of hand gesture to stop recording. For example, 2 hand cross, back of hand horizontal, or any gesture that ppl would not normally do while talking.
@@Wobbegong_th I agree. I have gesture control off all the time unless it's a special occasion such as a photo. I flail my hands WAY too much for it to be useful for me.
I set them in camera in OBS. If you click the screen it will select it. It will have a red outline, then right click the screen and select properties. A new preview window will pop up with a button to "configure video". There's no perfect setting I can suggest because it's going to depend on your lighting. For anyone that had a question about run time. I left these on for six hours and it was barely detectable that they were even turned on so I'm not seeing any problems with heat buildup. If anything changes I'll update this.
I've been thinking about changing my lighting for when I'm indoors. Ring lights are good but just run their course and you think about something better. I really like the lights you used here and WOW what a difference it made with your background. The background was so much crisper, colorful and not white washed so much. I think I'm going to give these a try in the near future. I really appreciated this video and it came at a great time for me 🙂

I'm impressed with the AF on this one, there was no noticeable focus hunting which is usually what destroys video recorded with webcams. The screen tearing (squiggly lines) may be due to a mismatch of the frame rates during recording.
I agree. That's what the lines were. I was using it on a capture card for my 4k camera and was too lazy to change the settings. When I noticed it in the edit I grabbed another capture card and matched the frame rate and all the lines were gone. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day and be safe out there.

It might help a little. Its biggest advantage is you're unlikely to get too loud. You would have to get loud enough to actually clip the microphone. Have a great day and be safe out there!
It just records a continuous loop at the interval you select. It will continuously overwrite at that time limit. If you want to save a loop you can stop the recording then start a new loop.
