I love how they flipped the beat. Maaaan, Logic doesn't get enough credit in Hip-Hop. I know he's over trying to be accepted and that's growth. But as a fan, I feel people judge him and are misinformed. Dude's skill is above most mainstream rappers. Especially those that can't articulate a single word. The ones that kids say "it's a vibe" yeah a shit vibe. Why can't we have a sick beat AND a sick rapper? Logic gets flack for maybe sounding too much like older rap? Maybe he pays too much tribute. I've thought about this. Because some people genuinely wanna see what a person has to offer in terms of their own creativity. And there is tons here but people feel its derivative maybe. Like he doesn't do his own unique sound. But I think his sound IS paying tribute to all before and now. Flipping the joints we grew up with. Improving on okder concepts. Revisiting stuff. Nostalgic to a certain degree. Either way, he's one of my favorites. He genuinely is about peace, love and positivity. Most claim that but never practice it. Logic does. Still remember his show in 2017 I went to in London. He was so genuine. Breath of fresh air in rap.
I know everybody’s been tripping on what Seth did on this track (rightfully so might I add), but does anyone else think Boss Playa sound like Sway in the voice?
Damn Cordae. That’s real though, sometimes when you first get a beat you don’t feel it, and then 2 months 3, shiii maybe a year it can sound so different. Like what the fuck was I thinking lol. I been there before, wish cuh was on that track though.
