I noticed the old method where you would target Yuzu / game in Steam launch parameters seem to be broken. This is a work around from what it looks like?
Yeah I think I was unable to get the Steam shortcut to work. You could just create a batch file and save some time, but it won't stay open so your status on Steam won't show in game, and adding batch files to Steam is a bit weird. This pretty much just creates a .exe that runs the batch file, and stays open until you close the game.
@@torihappyhugs Apologies for the late reply. I don't know what I was thinking the other day, this does not restart every hour. It restarts when you set it to in Task Scheduler. Task Scheduler in Windows should be set to run the script an hour before you want to restart. So if you want to restart at 12:00PM, use Task Scheduler to start the script at 11:00. When the script starts, it'll output a warning restart message to the server after 1 hour, 5 minutes, 1 minute and 10 second intervals. Once the script has reached the end, it will close the server console. Then you'll need to use Task Scheduler to re-open the server console once the last instance is closed.
ty bro i needed this, is it possible to have it restart when the server crashes though instead of having a scheduled time? So when game crashes because, lets say entity tick. Is it possible to have the script restart the server when that happens?
Sorry for the late reply but if you or anyone else is wondering, you could get this to work. You’d have to create a separate script though. Take a quick look at the documentation. Use a loop to check if the console is open every 10 seconds or so and if it’s not open, reopen the application. I’m not at my computer so I can’t test this but off the top of my head it should be something like: Local var = 0 While var <= 10 If WinExists(PathToConsole) Sleep(10) Else FileOpen(PathToConsole) WEnd
