Hi, thanks for the video, as someone coming to UoM this september, it helps a lot! One question, does the luggage you bought fit easyJet front underseat?
The last part of this video strongly resonate with me. I planned to watch the election, but I was on plane that day. Nevertheless, as you said, no matter who is elected, citizens shall supervise the officials to make sure they fulfill their promises. Also, we should not consider democracy and freedom for granted.❤❤❤
Thank you for watching my video till the end. It’s so true, we often take things for granted and forget to appreciate how fortunate and lucky we are to have such ordinary days.❤
Thank you for making this video! Can I ask more about the wifi speed, overall cleanness, how thick/thin the walls are, and the staff's attitude & helpfulness? I saw quite a number of negative reviews for this place and start to feel hesitant 😢
Hi! Sure, the wifi speed is fast, but sometimes (after 6 months of living here, I've encountered two instances when it wasn't working), so I would say the wifi is generally good. I'm not sure about how thick the walls are, but I never hear the sound of hair dryers. The staff is nice, and when I request repairs for my facilities, they respond really fast. I also recommend United Student Accommodations, where my friends live, they are generally great!
Hello ☺️ love the vlogs, recently got admitted for the msc in marketing for Manchester and Edinburgh and have seen them, I would love maybe a vlog to know your experience so far and how you like the courses or the university 💖
Hello! I’ll be filming a new video in the next two weeks to share my experiences from the first semester of studying MSc Marketing at the University of Manchester. Stay tuned! ❤
I couldn't agree more! Living in a different country has truly helped me take a step back and appreciate all the little things that we often overlook in our own homes, things here in Manchester and the simple joys of everyday life.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like my vlogs. I made sure my grades were strong, and achieving an IELTS score above 7 really helped. I also focused on making my application stand out through extracurricular activities and volunteering.
I quite enjoy life here, except for the disruptive rainy days. If you appreciate historical sites and culture while enjoying city life, Manchester should be quite suitable for you. Manchester is not as crowded as London, and despite frequent rain, it is still an interesting city with convenient living conditions. It's a place worth settling down in.💛
This was so much fun to watch. It’s lovely seeing people come together to prepare food and then enjoy eating it. It all looked delicious. Best wishes to you all for 2024🍾🥂
I think it's because I live on a lower floor, so the noise is kind of loud for me. Maybe the upper floors would be better (I don't know if they allow people to choose the floor). But after three months of living here, I've already gotten used to it, haha.😂
