it's really rare that an actual enemy lets u autoclip them in ea region. they'll do anything and i mean ANYTHING to prevent it from happening so this was unexpected

look closely; none of the mass from the support cell is used to auto the enemy. the backmost piece of the main cell (4.4k) is what autos the enemy when it splits, you can see that it's not there by the end of the move. it's not very obvious because the angle is tight
