It all depends on the size of the cardboard you choose. Here the ball I used is the size of a ball ice cream. Make sure it’s light weight. The size is actually your choice .

I cut foam sheet in that shape and wrote using sketch pens.. you can use cardboard, chart paper,… you can even use pictures to denote the particular season..
