Hi Friend, Your vids are awesome! This is Alloyworks! We specialize in the production of automotive radiators, heat exchangers, and cooling system components. We're wondering if we could collaborate. Would you like to put our products to the test and review them on your channel?
It would be so amazing to hybridize this with 3D CAD and computer meshmodeler like Blender 3D. If you had that and a large format printer, You could print section outlines, and use those to shape profiles. This would be SO FUN to PRESERVE coachbuilding and at the same time make the transition between design and buck much more flexible and creative.
Thank you for making all these wonderful videos showing so much descriptive technique's for people to use your knowledge and experience for many many years in the future.
Great 2-part video! As a follow up video, how about the rippled wheel discs like used on the Alfa Romeo 8C2900B coupe's (that attach over the wire wheels). There were some amazing "hub caps" in the 1930's and you go the general form -- but question is how to get all the "beads" (ripples) into it without it distorting like mad? [Just do for a 1934 Ford roadster you have in the shop.]
I hqve been following u for a long time.. what ever happened to the car u were building when u were still in sweden.. it was a 2 door..long hood. Cant think of what to call it ive watched ur stuff since u were there then moving to cali
"Every day is a school day" - I love it! No hearing protection needed in that shop. So peaceful. You could even make your own intricate hubcaps with these simple methods. Bravo, Lazze!
The difference between the master (Lazze) and the student is that the master has failed more times than the student has tried. Love your videos always educational.
Thanks Lazze...a great exercise in understanding how the metal moves, regardless if someone actually needs an air cleaner. We always appreciate your teaching, especially in real time!
