Funny, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled the latest in Mario's Thunderous Erections, it's so much easier and potent now!
I'm looking at the opposite problem: will wood glue hold adequately if there is linseed oil in the joint? The only "test" I've found on YT concluded that Titebond holds just as well if the BLO has had at least 48 hours to cure. The RU-vidr asserts that other oils will interfere with glue adhesion, since they don't oxidize and harden like BLO does, but he didn't test them. I'm working on a project that I'd like to apply the BLO before glue-up. I think I'll just see how well I can keep the BLO out of the joints while still covering all the areas to be finished. I guess I could just wait for 48 hours, but this project has gone on forever already, and I'm anxious to move on. What do you think?
Thank you. I cut several pieces of wood with a scroll saw then glue those layers together. When make plaques. I was wondering if treating the wood with a oil, before cutting them, would prevent me from getting a good bond when I glued the layers together. So this was a good experiment for my purpose. You said you could not tell any difference between the treated vrs the untreated. Thanks!
Thanks for the info. I usually clean up the finished surfaces that i need to glue using alcohol. The second it dries i glue and clamp. Never had a failure. Looks like I'll keep cleaning up the surfaces. I glue a lot of stained woods together into a big block and turn them on a lathe. The stained wood between the boards looks awesome as it fades due to its penetration. Some of my pieces look like spiderwebs because of it.
I know it's 7 years too late but if you happen to see this thanks for posting this. 17 Years old and just purchased my first bike, same year/model bike, didn't know what gear my transmission was in before this. Thanks again

I am currently teaching myself mechanics by dismantling (and eventually rebuilding) a 73 honda 350 and I've watched a bunch of Carb videos on here.... this one was particularly helpful. You covered everything in a really simplified way. You should make more videos!
Hi, I not only know who sang the original song (it was Lorene Mann in 1969); but also here's a link for this song ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JB6eIoRBELM.html ) ! ENJOY! By the way, if you find yourself needing something to lift your spirits then go to this site and give this tune a listen ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w7iJ9tWEvqo.html ). Simon jaarsma Hi. I Git the same here on a second hand drill. Cordless bosch 14.4v. But I do smell burnt stuff when running the drill on full speed. Is that really bad?
nice video series. I just replaced the points in my old kawi ke100 because they were completely worn down, but the bike still misfires at times. I'm thinking i need to replace the condenser too but it requires soldering
Nice Video! I have just started work on a gold 1972 honda cb350. I took the gas tank off and removed the air filter housings, drained the oil. Im about to start on the carbs so your video was very informative. Thanks again!

heidi nicht nur Dein "Schuh"..........alle fragen wir auch belastete Schuhe, wir sind nur Menschen, genau so "wild" wie andere Lebewesen auf der Erde...............
Can you hook up a Carburetor sync to this type of Carb? I have a 1972 Honda CL350 with these carbs, but for the life of me I cannot find a port for vacuum balancing.
Great vid. Is the overflow tube static or adjustable? I just took my carbs off to clean them. Now one doesn't want to go back together. It feels like the overflow tube (the one attached to the bottom of the bowl) is in the way.
