Stan with The Duchess Approves was me when I recently read Chainsaw Man. I was kind of strong-armed into it by a friend and thought I'd hate it, but I kinda had my "YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE AT THE COTILLION, YOU!" moment at the end of Part 1 with Nayuta (I HAAAAATED Makima)- I now own a Denji plushie I treasure with my life, so I did much the same 180.
I got into the series because I heard that Denji attacked a bunch of zombified yakuza. Plus, the entire lore and power system is hilarious and fits well with Shonen style of manga.

@@roxygaming5968 I'm going to be honest, I prefer media from the east, instead of the west due to too much pandering involved. However, in the east they are more focused on the story telling and narrative, plus they don't give two shits if a character is lgbtq+ because they treated like any other character in the story e.g. Quanxi gets killed in the manga even though she is a lesbian.
I feel like some of these and Rick And Morty's Interdimensional Cable share the same creative DNA, especially the Owl Trowel one and the one with Bobby Renzobbi, as well as Ducktective, definitely share the same vibe to a certain degree. Given the friendship between Alex Hirsch and Justin Roiland, it would be pretty plausible.
