It’s cringe watching hooksets. Almost looks like power lifting. Jesus Christ calm down it just swallowed a f*cking hook I don’t think it’s getting away
To do that 2000 times in a day ? There must be a reward worth doing it for, end of story ! I dont care who you are, or your skill level. Without a good enough reason, youre not focusing ten times, never mind thousands !
No way I could hold myself back from laughing if I was in the crowd.Everyone knows that one angler who spends more time telling people how good they are and giving “advice” then they do fishing
@@kenmahfishing that's what I use now so I was curious. I do notice I lose fish once in a while with my bait coming back bunched up, my buddies and me call it getting nined because your bait comes back looking like the number 9 when it bunches up. I might try and do your keeper trick on the EWG and see if that helps and also get some heavier duty round bends to try. Right now I only use lighter round bends for flukes. Thanks Ken, you're a real hammer and I appreciate you putting in work on these videos!
80lb braid though? I put 35lb braid on my rod and can pull a fish out of damn near anything, even rubbing the line on logs and concrete while pulling one in doesn’t break the line
C’mon bruh your putting to much on it . I fish the delta couple time a week . Punchin ain’t easy but if it’s mentally draining you time to see a shrink . Tournament dudes be tryin to make everything sound SUPER difficult. It’s just bass fishing . You wanna see mentally draining Ken , come to work with me for the day . Punchin mats is my relaxation. Stop being so xtra
I used $20 lures and caught regular stuff but mainly under 2 lbs but used gummy sharks from the store during a severe storm and caught a 8 lb catfish from the bank. Fishing is just random man. You can have everything right but the fish dictate what happens 😂
I live in ct and catch bass in thick cover in the 3-5 lbs range pretty regularly, I almost always fish with 8lbs mono and go up to 10 as a max 😂😂😂 buddy’s fishing for a damn tarpon talking about “80lbs braid is ideal”
I’m not a huge Ken mah fan , I think a lot of these “ pros “ are blow hards but I will agree with him on the 80 lb braid . Out here on the ca delta we fish a lot of penny wart among other extremely heavy cover for fish much bigger than what y’all have in CT so it’s pretty much mandatory if you want to get the fish out . 8’ rod , locked drag reel 1.5-2oz weight 4/0 straight shank hook . Out here you will see that setup in every bass boat . Everyone’s fishing situation is different across the country . My biggest on the river is just over 12 lbs with countless 7-10 lbers . You literally have seconds to get them out before they are lost . The vines have a way of unhooking fish . You’d have to experience it to understand.
I don’t fish to get mental fatigue… oh wait I’m a fly fisherman, we are scatter brained as hell trying to catch a large fish with a tiny little fly the floats on the water. 😂
I absolutely love being part of RB Bass. Just the whole atmosphere that this team has created and knowing that these guys all have my back for any reason from break downs, to tackle questions to just being guys you can chat with about anything. This team is a great group of anglers Nation wide from California to flordia , west coast to east coast. We are willing to help how we can whenever we can and that speaks a lot about us as a whole.
