Join us as we embark on our unique style of travel, a one-way road trip, in our trusty 1997 Land Cruiser. We don't just hit the road and return home - we bring our home with us, camping in our car as we explore new destinations. But what really sets us apart is that we don't return with our rig - we fly home and leave it in the next location, ready for our next adventure. Follow along as Ryann plans our next big trip and Chase tries to keep up with the Go-Pro batteries, documenting our travels and sharing our experiences with you.
@@jonathanbanowetz I used ones from Amazon “VEVOR Drawer Slides 36inch, 1 Pair Locking Drawer Slides 250lbs Load Capacity, Side Mount Ball Bearing, 3-Fold Full Extension”

HEYO, awesome to see Reichert and Alex here for this one! :D "I was just going to point aggressively at the rainbow" "We're just waiting for Old Faithful to do the Old Faithful thing" I am however disappointed that no "bye son!" jokes were made... The views from the helicopter are beyond phenomenal, holy cow! AND the lunch views? DAMN, this was scenic AF!
Lots of good examples out there if you don’t have something specific in mind. You can buy them as well but half the fun is all the lessons learned along the way.
Copy, is there a way to get that figured out? You seem to be a pretty bright guy. I'm sure if you looked at it for a bit something would click with you. Well done
No support on it. At full extension it could probably use it if you had a bunch of weight sitting on it for the evening. For my use case I was just tired of moving the stove from one side of the tailgate to the other if I needed in the drawer. So I use the table with the drawer in mostly.
That was a fantastic video, loved the way you put it together! I can’t believe all the things y’all got to do….so much fun to watch, I couldn’t put it down!! Great couple❤
Visited Death Valley last year in my 80 series. Came all the way from Alabama. Camping the first night in furnace creek was rough. I think the low that night was 86 degrees. The long hill coming out of Las Vegas going to Death Valley we saw the highest coolant temp of 217. At that point it was AC off, windows down and heater on. Death Valley was awesome otherwise.
That sounds very familiar. Our trip was similar. When we got to 215, I hit the heater but I threw it on defrost. I have always been in a 92 and in the 97… that auto engaged the AC. It was so bright I never saw the light or noticed my critical mistake. At 220 I pulled over. After cooling a bit I started and heard the AC so I knew then.
Enjoyed the coolant temp and surface temp read-outs! RIP the egg and everything else in that kind of heat! These vistas are GORGEOUS, from end to end. What’s the difference between seals and sea lions again?? 😉 P.S. “This man can find shade…” - don’t we know it… 👀
Thanks Kritika! We are new to the world of commentary but are thrilled to be here. It looks like you have lots of exciting journeys yourself! We look forward to watching along as well.
Wyatt is currently fan-girling over the Grand Canyon Caverns - apparently that bring back some memories! LOVE y'all's humor - thank you for "neh-vay-duh" and everything else! The dialog and shots are phenomenal, looking forward to the rest of the trip!
