There was no hope offered by you when I called. No program, no help, no resource. I was told my best bet was to contact a private company in Ontario for out-of-pocket private care that I cannot afford. CMHA is a joke. And so is our Healthcare in New Brunswick. Mental Health is Health. Your mind affects your body. If your mind is suffering, your body will suffer and you will develop disease - autoimmune diseases and cancer. Sure - these are treatable with very expensive medications - but wouldn't it be better to deal with trauma survivors with compassion and care before they become physically ill? Our system is moronic.
