I have long press ons. I like keeping my hands lightly resting on the keyboard like a pianist and moving with my elbows to get to keys. Then use the pads of my fingers only for pressing keys, it feels really dainty and doesnt strain.
Although other commenters sound negative with their gratitude, I am very grateful positively for your demonstration. It is not your demonstration that I frown upon, it is the long fingernails on my hands for my typing purposes that I don’t like. I do think long nails are very beautiful, and I see how the typing is possible with long nails. I’m just not sure it’s right for me for my purposes.
I have liked nails sing the second grade of cm vschooling,vset. ,1967/ Troublevis, my relations with such have been hampered by enforced impoverishment ; apparently my type is known-- lovers of beauty are rare... so perhaps that was best. Problem is I know how to get things. Can I help you get some of me. I am 64 years old and tall and slim. Help me, will you?
So you typed one sentence. what about those of us that type all day long? My nails grow just a little too much and they start getting in the way. I try to square them off at the ends and that does help to some extend and then they start getting in the way. I just don't see how you can type fast with long nails.
