Took your company off my list of exhausts to buy cuz you’re not smart enough to turn off the background music while giving us a sound clip of the exhaust. SMH.
I s there an actual install video or are you guys afraid you will scare off the neophyte with the level of difficulty? If someone need to have the diff between the mani and the shorty advantages explained to them they certainly should not be making this mod. SHOW THE PROCESS!
Just had them installed on my 2013 5.0;but I hear a sound from what I’m guessing maybe the left catalytic ;like loose particles do I need to upgrade the catalytic? Before I never heard that sound ?
For your 2003 F150, you would use Part 3518. They bolt right up to your factory exhaust and require no other modifications! bbkperformance.com/products/ford-f150-5-4-1-5-8-shorty-exhaust-headers-titanium-ceramic-99-03?rq=yr_2003~mk_ford~md_f-150~kh_xl~yj_5-4~of_exhaust
We dont have a specific kit for the 99-04 V6 Mustang, however we do offer universal kits that would work. You would need to determine where to best mount it. Part 1897: bbkperformance.com/products/universal-oil-separator-kit-with-billet-aluminum-catch-can?rq=yr_1999~mk_ford~md_mustang~kh_v6
The same question has been asked but I will reword. Can you use the 85mm on a stock 5.0, or as American Trucks had mentioned, in conjunction with bolt on mods. Thank you for whatever information you can give.
You can use this 85mm on a stock setup and see an increase in power and throttle response, however a tune would be the best way to gain the peak performance from it.
do NOT wrap any BBK headers - it will void any warranty. First, because the heat is retained inside the wrap, the metal gets much hotter than painted or coated headers. The higher heat cycles continue to fatigue the metal eventually leading to failure. The wrap will also hold moisture, promoting rust and corrosion
I installed a bbk 70mm TB to my 07 mustang v6 4.0 automatic. After installing it I have high rpms when driving, at a stop, and parked. How can I fix this?
To ensure proper idle, make sure that the spring cap is rotated and positioned correctly. It is also very important to check your TPS volts and make any necessary adjustments. You can read the install instructions by following this link: smhttp-ssl-39784-bbk.nexcesscdn.net/media/product_pdf/BBK/BBK-1765.pdf

@@Hollyfreeholly. 2012 F150 Platinum is considered a 5.0 Coyote, so youre looking at Part #1947 or #19470 to fit it: www.bbkperformance.com/ford-f150-truck-5-0l-coyote-1-3-4-in-long-tube-headers-ceramic-11-14.html
It's about a 6 hour job. Best method is to undo the motor mounts, raise the motor as high as possible and remove the starter to help gain as much clearance as possible for the swap.
At 1:07, he says works with factory tune. 1:11, that's correct, direct bolt on replacement, no need for a tune. We have customers who are getting DTC P2282 - Air leak between throttle body and intake valves. When we are contacting BBK support to try to help our customers, they are pushing it back to us saying it needs a tune. In our experience these should be direct bolt on, no tune required but we are having several customers with issues. Hoping someone can escalate this to resolve.
Hi Michael, the video shows install of part #1759 on a 5.4L, however we also offer a 75mm, part #1758 which fits all 04-06 4.6L F-series/Expedition - and follows the same install procedure.
